No he viajado nunca al extranjero, aunque me gustaría mucho. Mis viajes desde niña han sido a provincia donde vive mi familia, Matanzas, y ahora a Villa Clara donde vive mi nietecita Nayhelis de 7 años de edad.

I have never traveled abroad, although I would very much like to. My trips since I was a child have been to the province where my family lives, Matanzas, and to Villa Clara where my 7 year old granddaughter Nayhelis lives.

En estos momentos se vive una situación difícil en varios sectores de la economía en Cuba, como transporte, alimentación, apagones, precios elevados, etc.

At the present time, there is a difficult situation in several sectors of the economy, such as transportation, food, blackouts, high prices, etc.

Pero hay que hacer un aparte, y dedicar un tiempito para coger otro aire, aunque ya no soy tan joven, necesito desestrezarme del trajin diario y romper la rutina.

Este fin de semana me aventure a viajar sola y a las primeras luces del amanecer 6.30 am tome el ómnibus de pasajeros nacionales de la Terminal de la Habana, rumbo a Santa Clara, mi destino, para visitar con mucho anhelo a mi princesita.

This weekend I ventured to travel alone and at the first light of dawn 6.30 am I took the national passenger bus from the Havana Terminal, heading to Santa Clara, my destination, to visit my little princess with much longing.

5 horas por carretera me separa de ella. Después de 1 año y 7 meses, desde su cumple 6, que no la abrazo y beso físicamente, aunque hablo por video con ella todos los días .

En está ocasión viajé sola, pués por razones de trabajo mi hijo no me acompañó, todo salió a pedir de boca, muy bien.

This time I traveled alone, because for work reasons my son did not accompany me, everything went very well.

Fue un viaje sin dificultades con reservación de un mes de antelación ida y regreso por la aplicación Viajeros.

Arreglada para la ocasión, deseosa de encontrarse con su abuelita mercy, abrazos, besos, palabras de cariño, risas, un cúmulo de inmensa alegría, así fue el recibimiento.

En unos meses regresaré para celebrar junto a la familia su cumpleaños, número 8.

In a few months I will be back to celebrate his 8th birthday with the family.

Volveré a viajar sola, siempre que haga falta, nada me detendra.
