The subject that attracted me was Spanish Language and Literature; that was its name in high school. In elementary school, I remember it was called Language. I think it was easy for me, and I understood what was explained in class more easily. I loved doing the homework because I felt it was easy. I liked to read; I did whatever they assigned.
There were some grades where the reading level was more demanding, and the reading books had a different font, without so many pictures. Just as I found these Language and Literature topics easy, today I realize that there were classmates who, even in fourth grade, didn't read fluently. Now, I ask myself, and I say, human beings have always been this way, in every era and generation: some liked to study, some didn't, some gave their parents trouble, and some were a headache for teachers. No, it's not just now; it's always been this way. However, they handled it so well that one hardly noticed these differences in their schooling.
Another subject I always enjoyed was Physical Education, for a while, for very personal reasons. During those enjoyable times, I belonged to the school and high school volleyball teams until my junior year. When I moved on to the next level, some changes came, and even I changed some of my preferences.
