This time I want to share with you a very beautiful experience in a majestic place where I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious coffee.
Within my exercise plan I have proposed to take walks of more than 5000 steps and to make them entertaining I go through different paths within my city.
In this way I am getting to know more in detail the places I know with the naked eye, because I had never observed them carefully as now, it is a pleasure to see our environment with another look, it is as if they were new.
I was walking along Avenida G in Havana's Vedado when I came across the Hotel Presidente, I was already very tired because I had exceeded 5000 steps.
I was struck by the terrace that it has outside that borders the entire corner of the hotel, it has tables where you can have a snack or a refreshing drink.
The idea of having a coffee that would revitalize me encouraged me to enter the hotel, I climbed the steps that take us from the sidewalk to the terrace, but I did not stay here, because I was curious to know the interior of this emblematic hotel.
My surprise was great to see the colonial-style lobby very well maintained because this hotel is about to turn 100 years old, it was the first skyscraper in Cuba in 1928 when it was inaugurated.
Its interior design is beautiful, it has beautiful columns covered in marble, the furniture is antique in style and there are antique pieces adorning the whole place and a large piano that is used to liven up the evenings.
I decided to sit in its lobby and order a coffee while reveling in so much ancient beauty. I really like the design of the furniture and architecture of the colonial era.
I ordered a cappuccino coffee, which contains espresso coffee with fluid milk and milk foam. I was served coffee in a medium-sized white porcelain cup along with a container of the same porcelain with sugar to sweeten to taste.
I felt my energies being revitalized by both the coffee and the pleasant atmosphere around me. I left very happy to have seen the interior of this hotel of which I only knew its exterior.
I have been tempted to return one night with my husband to listen to the piano in such a special and cozy atmosphere.

Disfrutando de un café en un lugar de estilo colonial
En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy bonita en un lugar majestuoso donde tuve el placer de disfrutar de un delicioso café.
Dentro de mi plan de ejercicios me he propuesto realizar caminatas de más de 5000 pasos y para hacerlas entretenidas voy por caminos diferentes dentro de mi ciudad.
De esta forma estoy conociendo más al detalle los lugares que conozco a simple vista, porque nunca los había observado detenidamente como ahora, es un placer ver nuestro entorno con otra mirada, es como si fueran nuevos.
Estaba caminando por la Avenida G del Vedado habanero cuando me encuentro con el Hotel Presidente, ya estaba muy cansada porque había sobrepasado los 5000 pasos.
Me llamó la atención la terraza que tiene en su exterior que bordea toda la esquina del hotel, tiene situadas mesitas donde se puede merendar o tomar una bebida refrescante.
La idea de tomarme un café que me revitalizara me animó a entrar al hotel, subí los escalones que nos llevan de la acera a la terraza, pero no me quedé aquí, porque tenía curiosidad de conocer el interior de este hotel emblemático.
Mi sorpresa fue grande al ver el vestíbulo de estilo colonial muy bien cuidado porque este hotel está próximo a cumplir 100 años, fue el primer rascacielos de Cuba en 1928 cuando fue inaugurado.
Su diseño interior es hermoso tiene hermosas columnas cubiertas de mármol, los muebles son de estilo antiguo y hay piezas antiguas adornando todo el lugar y un gran piano que se utiliza para amenizar las noches.
Decidí sentarme en su vestíbulo y pedir un café mientras me deleitaba con tanta belleza antigua. Me gusta mucho el diseño de los muebles y arquitectura de la época colonial.
Pedí un café cappuchino, que contiene café espresso con leche fluida y espuma de leche. Me sirvieron el café en una taza de porcelana blanca tamaño medio junto con un recipiente de la misma porcelana con azúcar para endulzar al gusto.
Sentí que mis energías se revitalizaron tanto por el café como por el ambiente agradable que me rodeaba. Salí muy alegre de haber conocido el interior de este hotel del cual solo conocía su exterior.
Me he quedado tentada de volver una noche con mi esposo para escuchar el piano en ese ambiente tan especial y acogedor.
