While my older sister and I were tending to and watering the ornamental plants in front of my house, I spotted a white mass wrapped around one of the plants; this immediately caught my attention and drew me closer. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was the nest of a crab spider guarding its eggs—a fact confirmed when the spider itself emerged. It was incredibly tiny, roughly the size of a weaver ant. Because it was so small, I couldn't capture a clear photo with my mobile phone camera and had to use a macro lens instead.
This spider boasts a unique, translucent green color, making it truly beautiful. It is harmless to humans, so we can observe and even handle it safely. Personally, I am very fond of spiders; they are not agricultural pests, so their presence causes no harm to us. However, we must remain cautious, as there are many venomous spider species worldwide, and it isn't always easy to distinguish the dangerous ones from the harmless; therefore, it is always best to exercise care when dealing with spiders.
