A few days ago I managed to find another species of wood ear mushroom that looked very tempting, but because I only managed to find one, I didn't pick it and just took a picture of it, besides the taste of the wood ear mushroom was also very bland so there was no flavor that made the food taste better, what makes me really like wood ear mushroom is its very chewy texture, so chewy that this mushroom also looks like jelly. I don't know where wood ear mushrooms can grow, because I have managed to find wood ear mushrooms growing in several different places, even on different trees, but of all my discoveries, the wood ear mushroom that grows on a dead coconut tree is the wood ear mushroom that I like the most.
