Less than two days into the new season I was able raise my rating to Diamond I. My chest rewards were shown at front post image. On top of that I went ahead and bought a boat load of Gladius Cases. Ten cases to be exact. Here were my card pulls:
In peakmonsters there seems to be an error displaying Gladius cards opening so I resorted to Splinterland's card listing. Overall it was a decent pull considering I got (5) epics, (12) rares, and a decent amount of commons. With all the new additions I went ahead to merge cards hoping to level up some.
Here I was able to level up to 7.
This one to level 6.
This to level 5.
Meanwhile as a whole I have over five cards that are just 1 to 5 bcx from the next level up. I will get a chance to add more after another month of brawls.
In the rank battles I seem to be doing fine as I have been focusing on earning Glint for epic cards. Once I buy enough of batch 1 epics I will go to the lower rarity of commons and rares to finish batch one of those cards.
I saw survival mode is out but have yet to partake. I prefer to keep my cards playable for the season and then maybe near the end of season try survival out. I am not sure how it fully works but seeing that I can not use cards after certain amount of loses it seems it maybe wiser to spend my energy bar in modern league before I move forward. In addition these last few modern seasons will be the only ones left before the next series of cards comes out. The switch over from Chaos to the newest series of cards will mean I can no longer compete in modern.
I do plan to continue playing but likely will have to be in wild league. In the mean time I will also have stake in land plots to play with as new resources come online. I have not done much in land other than continuous harvesting plots every other day. I was a bit surprise my last season I yielded a meager 200 sps from land only, but then again its all passive income. I will take what I can get.
