Day of 2025-07-12

I started the yesterday with a clear-sky jog. The early morning gave me space to think. The usual trail was in great shape—no mud or loose gravel—so I could run without distractions

Later, I decided to grab another 50 $LSTR and increase my position. The token still feels underpriced considering its potential, and I want to stay ahead of any momentum shift. Little by little, I’m pushing my stake toward a higher rank in the ecosystem. I’m also trying to keep my average buy price low, so catching dips like today helps. It’s one of those plays where patience and consistency matter more than flash.

Tough news came in about the $INDEX token—it’s officially dead and will be liquidated. Luckily, I managed to sell off my holdings without taking a loss, but I haven’t fully wrapped up the math yet to confirm that across all transactions. The project had some good intentions but couldn’t keep pace with the ecosystem or user expectations. It’s a good reminder that not every token has staying power, and that exit timing is just as important as entry. I’ll keep my eyes open for updates but emotionally I’ve already moved on.

I made a few trades in $HBD today—nothing big, just keeping the wheels turning. Even small volume trades help me stay sharp and engaged with the rhythm of the market. I like how $HBD lets me hold steady value while still giving flexibility to react quickly. The swings today weren’t dramatic, but enough to squeeze out some clean moves. It’s part of my strategy now to always keep a portion of the portfolio mobile.

In my downtime, I’ve been watching some old westerns, and wow—some of them are really bad in all the best ways. The acting is stiff, the sets are clearly cardboard, and the soundtracks are overly dramatic—but there’s often a surprising gem of a storyline buried underneath. One that stood out was Three Ruthless Ones—a gritty mess overall, but the ending was unexpectedly solid. The plot twist where the women get all the blame was wild, and definitely a conversation starter. Despite the flaws, there’s something charming about these clunky films—they don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. Must have been a hit in certain circles.

Sort:

It's true that these western films have a unique charm, even when they are a disaster in some aspects.
Sometimes, imperfections make them more authentic and fun to watch.

An interesting study had pointed out that being grateful reduces the risk of death by 9% compared to those who aren't serious about showing gratitude!!
