Hey, thank you so much for the prize, really appreciate it!
I read last week post too fast, I thought it was a one time thing, but it's a weekly challenge, that is great, it allows exploring different styles and periods. I have a feeling my picks will be quite different from most since like I said I'm mostly into metal, even extreme metal sometimes. But I won't go full metal just yet and will stay in the early 90s and another legendary band for my pick today: Rage Against The Machine. Like I said, I was still a kid around that time, searching for the music I liked. And that fusion of rap and metal really did it for me. Their first album is one of these where I cannot find a song I don't like. It was also one of my very first concerts. We were still too young to drive and had to find a way to travel the 100+ km to get to that concert! Good times! I wasn't really aware of the activism and political side of RATM, especially with my very poor English at the time, but I consider it a bonus now. Anyways, that entire first album puts me in a good mood, but I'm going with probably the most famous one Killing in the Name. Just hearing the first few notes can get me so pumped up, and of course the most infamous outro ever!
Sorry for the long responses, I can get a bit passionate about music...
Have a great week end and thanks again for this challenge!
