"Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?”
David Attenborough
Show Me a Photo Contest SMaP - Round 218
For some strange reason unknown to me, the building where I live seems to attract, as if it were a gigantic magnet, a large number of birds, from hawks that fly over the outside areas and parking lots, to pigeons that perch quietly on the windows and ledges of the building, perhaps looking to rest before resuming their flight.
On numerous occasions when I look out of my bedroom window, I usually find one or two pigeons within a very short distance of my face, yet after I set out to photograph them, they flee as if their lives were in danger as if I were carrying a gun in my hands instead of a harmless cell phone.
Perhaps the reason for the proliferation of birds in the different areas of the building is the presence of numerous vacant lots in the surroundings, covered with abundant vegetation, which would imply the existence of food for the winged feathered creatures.
As I have described in previous posts, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, in order to improve or highlight some element of my images, without modifying their essence.
