Hello my dear community, today I have a very nice blog for you because I want to share part of what was my day yesterday, when my sister and I went together to buy our mom's birthday gift, (although I will not say more details about it because our mom is also Hiver so we do not want her to see the gift ahead of time or suspect what it is, I will only advance that it is something she always wanted to have, so we are sure she will be very happy😃) My sister and I went on her moped so we could go with more freedom, since we both like to take a lot of time when we are shopping, however our dad accompanied us in the car to be able to take the gift home, since it was something big and heavy, and that's what we did, as soon as we got to the store and bought it we left it in the car, as well as the bags with the grocery shopping, this way my dad went straight home with all that and we continued doing other shopping.
Hola mi querida comunidad, hoy les tengo un blog muy bonito porque quiero compartir parte de lo que fue mi día de ayer, cuando mi hermana y yo fuimos juntas a comprar el regalo de cumpleaños de nuestra mamá, (aunque no voy a decir mayores detalles al respecto porque nuestra mamá también es Hiver así que no queremos que vea el regalo antes de tiempo o que sospeche de qué se trata, solo adelantaré que es algo que ella siempre quiso tener, así que estamos seguras que se pondrá muy feliz😃) Mi hermana y yo fuimos en su bicimoto para poder ir con más libertad, ya que a ambas nos gusta tomarnos mucho tiempo cuando estamos de compras, sin embargo nuestro papá nos acompañó en el carro para poder llevarse el regalo a casa, ya que era algo grande y pesado, y eso fue lo que hicimos, en cuanto llegamos a la tienda y lo compramos lo dejamos en el carro, al igual que las bolsas con las compras del supermercado, de esta forma mi papá se fue directo a la casa con todo eso y nosotras continuamos haciendo otras compras.
After we finished shopping we went straight to the municipal theater in Valencia (our city) as there are some events scheduled for this month that we would like to see. I love that lately there is so much promotion of culture.
Después que terminamos de hacer las compras nos fuimos directamente al teatro municipal de Valencia (nuestra ciudad) ya que hay algunos eventos que están pautadas para este mes que quisiéramos ver. Me encanta que últimamente haya tanta promoción a la cultura
If there is something that my sister and I love is classical ballet, since the time when my sister practiced it and even performed in that same theater when she was little, so we are looking forward to attending the performance of Ballet Giselle, whose main role will also star an influencer and youtuber of our own city. This ballet along with Swan Lake and The Nutcracker is my favorite, especially for the depth and drama that has its plot, especially when the Willies (specters of Slavic mythology) make their appearance 😨.
Si hay algo que mi hermana y yo amamos es el ballet clásico, desde la época en que mi hermana lo practicaba e incluso se presentaba en ese mismo teatro cuando era pequeña, por lo tanto tenemos muchas ganas de asistir a la función del Ballet Giselle, cuyo papel principal además estará protagonizado por una influencer y youtuber de propia ciudad. Este ballet junto con El Lago de los Cisnes y El Cascanueces es mi favorito, sobre todo por la profundidad y dramatismo que tiene su trama, en especial cuando Las Willies (espectros de la mitología eslava) hacen su aparición 😨.
Once in the theater a kind gentleman showed us inside the building, here I show you a little of what is the lobby and its beautiful bifurcated staircase, (by the way it is said that it was made with the same saw with which the Eiffel Tower was made) I love the handrail because it preserves very well the baroque / Parisian style that has the whole building. But anyway haha I will not dwell too much on the architectural details because the thing is that when I asked for tickets for the ballet they told me that they did not sell them there but next door, in the symphony music academy 🤷♀ and I thought it was strange because they should sell them in the theater itself.
Una vez en el teatro un amable caballero nos hizo pasar al interior del edificio, aquí les muestro un poco de lo que es el lobby y su hermosísima escalera bifurcada, (por cierto que se dice que fue fabricada con el mismo hierra con el que fue fabricada La Torre Eiffel) Amo el pasamanos porque conserva muy bien el estilo barroco/parisino que tiene todo el edificio. Pero en fin jaja no me extenderé demasiado en los detalles arquitectónicos porque el caso es que cuando pregunté por las entradas para el ballet me dijeron que no allí vendían allí sino al lado, en la academia de música sinfónica 🤷♀ y me pareció raro porque deberían venderlas en el mismísimo teatro.
So I went there, to the symphonic music academy, and there, on the other side of that door you see in the first picture below, was the rehearsal room where you could hear the music of the orchestra, because yes, they will play live 😃 so one of the organizers of the event asked me to wait for a while in the hallway, but guess what? when he came out of there he gave me bad news because it turns out that the tickets for the ballet were already sold out. I couldn't believe it! and it's because of course, the performance will be this Saturday and I hadn't been able to go before to buy the tickets. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for tickets so I can go in December when they will surely have The Nutcracker ready, but we really wanted to see Giselle, especially after seeing the process of character selection and rehearsals that the influencer who will be the protagonist has shared.
Así que me fuí hasta allá, a la academia de música sinfónica, y allí, al otro lado de esa puerta que ven en la primera fotografía de abajo, era la sala de ensayos donde se escuchaba la música de la orquesta, porque sí, tocarán en vivo 😃 así que uno de los organizadores del evento me pidió que esperara por un tiempo en el pasillo, pero ¿adivinen qué? cuando salió de allí me dio malas noticias porque resulta que los boletos para el ballet ya se habían agotado. ¡No lo podía creer! y es que claro, la función será este sábado y yo no había podido ir antes a comprar las entradas. De todos modos estaré pendiente para poder ir en diciembre cuando seguramente tendrán listo El Cascanueces, pero realmente queríamos ver Giselle, sobre todo después de ver el proceso de selección de personajes y ensayos que ha compartido la influencer que será la protagonista.
Well, anyway as the saying goes “After an upset, a good taste” haha so back home my sister and I went to taste some delicious traditional drinks of this country (Venezuela) called Cocadas and made with water and coconut pulp and condensed milk, it is very refreshing and wonderful, perfect to sweeten your palate. Anyway we were both happy and satisfied to have fulfilled the main objective of that outing, to make the planned purchases, especially the gift for my mom, which obviously I will be showing you later, after we deliver it to her.
Bueno, de todos modos como dice el refrán "Después de un disgusto, un buen gusto" jaja así que de regreso a casa mi hermana y yo fuimos a degustar unas deliciosas bebidas tradicionales de este país (Venezuela) que se llaman Cocadas y e hecha a base de agua y pulpa de coco y leche condensada, es muy refrescante y maravillosa, perfecta para endulzarte el paladar. De todos modos ambas estábamos felices y satisfechas de haber cumplido el objetivo principal de aquella salida, hacer las compras previstas, en especial el regalo de mi mamá, el cuál obviamente se los estaré mostrando más adelante, luego de que se lo entreguemos a ella.
