When I joined Hive some years ago because of Splinterlands which game me free Hive keys after buying a Spellbook for $10, I did not know how to start. Since, I had spent some months on Splinterlands, I had enough experience to write SPLD content on Hive and this is how I started my journey earning from 2 different platforms.
April 11, my Hive account turned 3 years old, and I went through my crypto sheets to see where I stand after that many years, what did I earn and where do I stand now. Let's have a look at L1 tokens first, then I'll show you major L2 tokens and Splinterlands earnings.
Hive Assets
Here is my Hive wallet overview from Ecency wallet page:
Hive: I have around 690+ Hive in liquid form, currently these are put in an open Sell order. This amount is used for HIVE/HBD trading and sometimes I earn a few bucks doing some trading. Currently, I am waiting for the sell order to trigger but due to market conditions it is taking too long to happen.
Hive Power:
I have around 1580 HP and which is growing slowly as I have not written blogs as frequently as I did a year ago. Most of this HP came from Splinterlands posts, now my main source of HP earning is threads and some trading profits.
I have also delegated 190 HP to different accounts, I receive different L2 tokens and liquid Hive rewards daily through this delegated HP. I also planning to dedicate some HP to @leo.voter to earn passive $LEO tokens regularly.
HBD and Savings: I have added 110 HBD tokens in savings and they have yielded some $3 amount till today. I am looking forward to add some Hive to savings as well.
Currently, I have 5.451 HBD pending in rewards and around 1.86 HBD in hand. I use this amount mostly for trading between HIVE/HBD pair.
L2 Tokens: I have quite a lot of Hive-Engine L2 tokens in my wallet, but most of them have lost 100% of their value and worth not even peanuts.
You can see some top performing tokens in above sheet from BeeSwap wallet. LEO holds the number 1 spot as it always does among L2 tokens. LEO is the only Layer-2 asset that has a good market value. VOUCHERS, CCD, BRO, ZING, LEN, are some of the tokens that bear a fair value these days.
Splinterlands: I play Splinterlands regularly and make around 20-30 SPS per day, and also earn some staked SPS from Guild Brawls.
I have staked so far 6410 SPS and I earn some regular rewards at the rate of around 10%. 251 SPS are reserved for card rentals and buying small assets. I have also some DEC but those I mainly use for renting cards.
Apart from regular Splinterlands rewards, I have also provided funds in different SPLD liquidity pairs. Have a look at the following image from TribalDex.
The amount of all liquidity pools reached around $77, and I get some SPS rewards daily from these pools. Currently, I have around 60 SPS to claim from these pools.
Splinterlands Cards: When I had started Splinterlands I had assets over $200, but slowly as new editions released, my old assets started to drop in price and almost fell 125% in total value. Although, I have some reward cards that do not hold any value due to soul-bound condition, but if I unlocked them, it would take almost same amount of money as they are sold with the price in market.
Current value of total cards set to be around $66, which was almost thrice the value of cards some 2 years ago. I mostly rent new cards rather buying expensive packs and get penny cards instead or look for deals to hold gold foil cards as they worth more than regular cards.
I think I have fairly a nice amount of assets on Hive blockchain, I might have more than that if I has made regular blogs. I have changed my strategy and think of doing more blogs again.
April LPUD
This Leo Power Up Day (LPUD), I have powered 300 LEO tokens and turned them into LP.
Above image from InLeo wallet shows my previous LP of 3024, after adding 300 LEO tokens it went slightly up.
Added 300 LEO tokens for staking as LP.
Finally, I have 3324 LP in my wallet, sealing my entry into April's LPUD event. I did a "Lion's Attack" adding above 150LEO tokens to my wallet.
