Hello Hive Gamers! Arcade Colony Stakehouse Den is a casino based game where players can earn Colony tokens. The pack opening has gone live two weeks ago and I was able to open my pack. On the other hand, #splinterlands Conclave Arcana also went on pre-sale and most of my funds went there so I was only able to buy one Stakehouse Den pack. The cards I got were two rares and three commons.
How to Use Stakehouse Den Cards
The Stakehouse Den cards can be staked together with Script tokens to earn Hotsauce tokens. Hotsauce are soulbound tokens that can be used to bet in the game to earn Colony tokens. For example, I bet 50,000 Hotsauce in the roulette game below.
Winning games will earn reward shares that will be a factor in the Colony to be claimed. If you lose, then you will lose the Hotsauce you bet and will have to generate it by staking your cards.
Card Merging
Cards can be merged to increase their level. Each merge raises the card’s merge count, and a new level is unlocked once the required merge count is reached. The required number of merges varies depending on the card’s rarity and foil type. The table below outlines the merge requirements for each level based on rarity and foil.
Hotsauce Generation Factor
Hot Sauce is generated by staking both cards and scripts. The generation rate depends on the card’s level, rarity, and foil type. Higher-level cards, rarer cards, and gold foil variants produce more Hot Sauce compared to lower level, more common, and regular foil cards, respectively.
Hot Sauce Generated = Merge Count × Card’s Generation Factor
To generate HotSauce, each staked card must be paired with 2 Scripts, regardless of the card's level. The factors influencing Hot Sauce generation are detailed in the table below.
Refrigerator
Once Hotsauce is generated through card staking, it can be claimed and stored in the Refrigerator. Each Refrigerator has a default storage capacity of 50 Hotsauce. When the storage limit is reached, no additional HotSauce can be stored. To increase storage capacity, Scripts must be burned.
Final Thoughts
For now, the game is not live yet. I can't wait for the game to start and stake my cards to generate Hotsauce and play in this exciting casino themed game. There are three games available (Black Jack, Slots and Roulette) with more games like Poker to add later.
Arcade Colony is continuing to port arcade type games to web3 like Moon Karts and Hyper Rail Blaster. Maybe a fighting game like Street Fighter can be a good idea to port in the near future.
