How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. This is @lj1728 and I am happy to share once again in this community my simple life story with you all.💕
Today turned out to be one of those calm and relaxing workdays that made me appreciate the simple moments even more. This week my workload was very light, so I was able to finish my paperwork without feeling rushed. It was nice to end the workweek on such a peaceful note.
While I was busy organizing some documents in the office, one of my close friends, who is also a teacher at our school, stopped by to visit me. She surprised me with an ice cream, biscuit, and a few mini chocolates. It instantly made my day brighter. I always appreciate how thoughtful she is. She often brings me little snacks or invites me to eat out after work. Those simple gestures always remind me how lucky I am to have a friend like her.
When I arrived home after work, another pleasant surprise was waiting for me. My parcel from S&R had finally arrived! I ordered bath soaps and a hand soap, so I was happy to receive everything in good condition. It always feels satisfying to check something off my shopping list and restock the things we use every day in the house.
For dinner, I decided to order from Jul’s Food Hub since I was craving one of my favorite meals from them. I chose their fried chicken rice combo with lumpiang shanghai, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. I really like their food because it tastes like a comforting home-cooked meal. And for my dessert I just had a piece of brownies.
