Hi everyone, this is one of the insect species or also considered a grasshopper which is popularly known as "Tagasta marginella" and maybe this name is not familiar to many people, but believe me this species has an important role in the ecosystem which is very worthy of being known more closely, Tagasta marginella which comes from the Acrididae family, namely a group of grasshoppers which are generally known as leaf eaters, this grasshopper is also included in the subfamily catantopinae which is widespread in tropical and subtropical regions.

The body size of Tagasta marginella is relatively small when compared to other grasshoppers, the body of Tagasta marginella is elongated but slender with a dominant green body color and is equipped with a perfect line pattern, this body color really allows them to camouflage among the green leaves around them when they feel threatened by the arrival of insect hunters such as birds and others.
