Coprinopsis lagopus | March 21 2025 | Buket Alue Puteh, Aceh, Indonesia |

on this occasion I would like to show you some beautiful and unique mushroom photos that I have captured for all of you, these mushrooms thrive on the surface of the soil with lots of organic matter that has long rotted, although these mushrooms do not look as beautiful as other mushrooms, these mushrooms have a unique side that interests me to capture them, the first thing that stands out most about these mushrooms is the mushroom cap which has a curve like a cowboy hat, while the very long slender stem makes the mushrooms grow towering upwards and look elegant.
where I live this mushroom is known as "ink mushroom" while in scientific language this mushroom is popular with the name "Coprinopsis lagopus" which is one of the species of mushrooms that come from the psathyrellaceae family, and this mushroom also has a relatively short life and they grow more often on surfaces that are rich in organic matter, the cap of this mushroom has a very thin texture so that when touched the cap of this mushroom will be very easy to break and turn into several small particle parts, but if squeezed this mushroom will turn into a small lump and have a very distinctive black liquid.
