Sometimes, the most interesting reflections appear where we least expect them… even at work. I captured this photo in my office, in a completely everyday moment while I was waiting for the computer to turn on as I checked my agenda. While I was working, I noticed something curious on the PC: the reflection of my agenda and several objects on my desk could be perfectly distinguished on the shiny black plastic. The scene struck me as so funny and spontaneous that I couldn’t help but take the photo to share it with you.
It was not a planned photo, but that is precisely where its charm lies. Sometimes photography surprises us when we are simply attentive to small details. Thanks to the #shadowshunters community and @olgavita for this contest that invites us to observe with more intention even the most common spaces.

En ocasiones, los reflejos más interesantes aparecen donde menos los esperamos… incluso en el trabajo.
Esta foto la capturé en mi oficina, en un momento totalmente cotidiano donde esperaba que la computadora encendiera mientras revisaba mi agenda. Mientras trabajaba, noté algo curioso en la PC: el reflejo de mi agenda y varios objetos de mi escritorio se podían distinguir perfectamente en el brillante plástico negro. La escena me resultó tan graciosa y espontánea que no pude evitar tomar la foto para compartirla con ustedes.
No fue una foto planeada, pero justamente ahí está su encanto. A veces la fotografía nos sorprende cuando simplemente estamos atentos a los pequeños detalles.
