Hello there Friends, Happy Monday evening - and thank you for your visit!
This is post 38 in the #cyclingcommunity, and the first full week of April this year.
Well to be honest it was windy most of the week - real windy! We had average winds of about 25+ mph / 40+ kph, with gusts to 37 mph / 59.5 kph - not Cycling weather. During my few attempts I noticed that you do get blown around quite a bit!
Luckily I did get about 2 days I could get in a few miles - one of them today!
So let's see where the numbers for the week landed!
The Black bike:
This Monday at 252.79 miles / 406.82 kilometers
An increase of,
20.63 miles / 33.20 kilometers,
I am impressed! Through it all I did manage to do better than the week before!
And,
The Green bike:
This Monday at 59.372 miles / 95.54 kilometers
An increase of,
2.592 miles / 4.17 kilometers
The wind killed this one I'm afraid...
So this puts the weekly total at,
23.222 miles / 37.372 kilometers (total) for the week overall. A little less than the week before but, with all the wind I will take it!
This puts the total for 2025 at,
312.162 miles / 502.376 kilometers for the year so far!
So a little less than an "average week", but still moving forward and over 300 miles. And I am ahead of where I was this time last year!
Which does give me a pretty good feeling!
