Algo que se preguntan con regularidad los nuevos usuarios es lo siguiente: ¿Como comenzar en “Splinterlands” si tu capital y/o liquidez es limitada? Esto es lo más normal del mundo, puesto que muchos no poseen el capital realmente, o en su defecto no quieren arriesgar tanto, pero, quieran probar el ecosistema o el juego en este caso, pues, hay formas de hacer esto, por supuesto, está la nueva forma gratuita gracias al “Modo Campaña y el formato Frontier”, los cuales ayudan a todos de manera 100% gratuita, pero, qué tal si quieres acelerar este proceso, hay que aceptar algo la mayoría quiere resaltados inmediatos y si quieren acelerar las cosas es válido.
Así que, precisamente es de esto que quiero hablarles hoy, ya que les mostrare como realmente comenzar con poco capital, de forma rápida y sencilla, sin muchos trucos, yendo directamente a lo que quieren saber y cómo hacerlo, ademas, para esto estaremos usando una de las aplicaciones de terceros lideres en el ecosistema de “Splinterlands” llamada “Peakmonsters”, la cual para mí, es una de las mejores herramientas que existen para el juego, sin duda de las más completas y que nos puede ayudar un montón a mejorar nuestra experiencia tanto en el juego como en el ecosistema.
Así que, sin más dilaciones vamos con el contenido:
Primeros pasos (Esto es lo que necesitas para iniciar)
Para ganar recompensas en el juego y acelerar el proceso, experiencia y progresión, necesitas 2 cosas fundamentales
1. Necesitas un mazo de cartas: Esto para competir en el formato en donde quieras jugar, el cual, dependiendo de tu liquidez, elegiría entre “Moderno” (El más recomendado) o Salvaje, uno de los más económicos ahora mismo para ingresar, jugar y obtener recompensas.
2. Necesitas $SPS: Este es el motor de tus recompensas, ya que por jugar ganas $SPS en el proceso y un token intransferible y sin valor llamado $GLINT el cual solo funciona en la tienda de recompensas del juego, lo que te ayudara a construir un mazo de cartas de recompensas bajo el marco de las cartas de “Rebellion”.
3. Necesitas tiempo: Esto es primordial si quieres obtener buenas recompensas con el tiempo, la constancia es la clave del éxito en este juego, por lo que, si no estás dispuesto a dedicarle, podría no ser una buena inversión para ti, si es que solo quieres jugar, ya que puedes invertir y ganar de manera pasiva sin jugar.
Con todo esto, lo siguiente es explorar donde puede armar o conseguir las 2 primeras cosas importantes, me refiero al mazo de cartas y al SPS, así que, vamos a la siguiente sección:
¿Cómo armar un mazo de cartas en “Peakmonsters” y como conseguir $SPS?
Para comenzar, tienes que ingresar a la plataforma de “Peakmonsters”, inicias sesión como de costumbre, ya deberías de tener instalada la extensión de navegador llamada “Hive Keychain”, o en su defecto, descargar en la tienda de aplicaciones “Hive Keychain” para acceder desde el móvil, solo es colocar tus llaves privadas y listo.
Luego de que estes dentro, buscaras lo siguiente:
Cuando ya estes allí, basta con que ubiques la opción llamada “My Decks”, selecciones un poco mas abajo “By Me” y por último presiones en “Build” que, es donde toda la magia sucede, debido a que, lo que haremos es crear un mazo de batalla el cual podamos tener siempre a nuestra disposición sea para alquilarlo o comprarlo con unos pocos clics, lo mejor de esto, es que puede ser cualquier carta, no importa cual sea, lo que te da mucho margen de maniobra y flexibilidad.
Ahora bien, crearlos es muy sencillo, pero antes de llegar a ese punto, debes tener en cuenta lo siguiente:
- Capital y/o liquidez disponible: Esto es primordial, ya que determinara que tipo de mazos puedes comprar y completar, ya que por obvias razones no podrás comprarlos todos, pero, la idea es que veas los precios en el mercado, sea para compra o alquiler y ya tengas presente que cartas quieres antes de dirigirte a “My Decks” en Peakmonsters, recordando que, necesitas 2 cosas, y no solo es un mazo de cartas, también $SPS.
Con esto claro, vamos a uno de los puntos mas importantes, alquiler o compra de $SPS:
¿Cómo alquilar o comprar $SPS? + Terminando los pasos de "My Decks"
Para alquilar $SPS por medio de “Peakmonsters” es muy sencillo, lo único que debes de hacer es seguir los pasos de la imagen para llegar al mercado de alquiler de los tokens, hacer clic en “New Bid” y llenar todos los campos para que tu solicitud salga en la lista y una ballena o usuario que tenga esta cantidad de $SPS disponible para alquilar, tome tu oferta y tengas el SPS disponible para obtener un multiplicador que es lo que te hará ganar tanto $SPS como GLINT por batalla ganada. La forma en que debes llenarlo es la siguiente:
Debes colocar la cantidad de $SPS que quieres, en este caso, 500k me parece razonable para comenzar, el precio que pagaras en $DEC diario por cada $SPS alquilado, en este caso un precio razonable alto para que tomen la oferta es colocar 0.002 DEC, que equivaldrían a los 7 días a 7000 DECS, que justo ahora al momento de escribir este post equivalen a $5.10, un monto que pagarías semanal por esa cantidad. Ahora si crees que es mucho, puedes probar colocando un precio de 0.001 DEC, colocando el precio semanal en 3500 $DEC que son $2.55, algo quizás mas razonable si estas iniciando.

¿Cómo construir el mazo en My Deck?
Una vez estes allí y selecciones “Thematic” como muestro en la imagen, basta con que experimentes creando varios “Decks” a tu gusto, mi recomendación esta en las cartas del “Formato Moderno”, las cuales son las que forman parte del “Metajuego” actual, sin embargo, estas son mas costosas tanto en compra como en alquiler, sin embargo, si con tu capital no tienes oportunidad, enfócate en las cartas del formato “Salvaje”, las cuales en su mayoría son muy baratas, con un precio mínimo de 1 DEC por temporada, así que, en este punto la elección es tuya.
Una vez ya tengas un “Deck” construido, basta con que veas las opciones de “Buy y Rent”, las cuales resalto en la ultima imagen, cuando selecciones todo, el mismo sistema se encargara de buscar el mejor precio de la carta para ti, luego, vas a tu carrito y verificas si con tu capital disponible, puedes en su defecto comprarlo o alquilarlo y con esto, ya podrás prácticamente comenzar a jugar.
Consideraciones finales
Con todos estos pasos ya pueden comenzar a jugar rápidamente a “Splinterlands”, lo mas importantes es el capital que tengas, lo que dependerá de que puedas comprar o alquilar un mazo, y por supuesto la cantidad de $ SPS mínima con la que puedas ganar una buena cantidad de batallas y por ende de $SPS en el proceso, sin mencionar lo GLINT que, con ellos podrás construir un mazo de recompensas muy fuerte de “Rebellion”.

Of course, there is the new free way thanks to "Campaign Mode and the Frontier format," which help everyone 100% free of charge, but what if you want to speed up this process? We have to accept that most people want immediate results, and if they want to speed things up, that's valid.
So, this is precisely what I want to talk to you about today, as I will show you how to really get started with little capital, quickly and easily, without many tricks, going straight to what you want to know and how to do it. In addition, we will be using one of the leading third-party applications in the "Splinterlands" ecosystem called "Peakmonsters," which, for me, is one of the best tools available for the game, undoubtedly one of the most comprehensive, and one that can help us a lot to improve our experience both in the game and in the ecosystem.
So, without further ado, let's get to the content:
Getting Started (Here's what you need to get started)
To earn rewards in the game and speed up the process, experience, and progression, you need two fundamental things:
1. You need a deck of cards: This is to compete in the format you want to play, which, depending on your liquidity, would be either "Modern" (the most recommended) or Wild, one of the most economical formats right now to get started, play, and earn rewards.
2. You need $SPS: This is the engine of your rewards, since by playing you earn $SPS in the process and a non-transferable, worthless token called $GLINT, which only works in the game's reward store, helping you build a deck of reward cards under the "Rebellion" card framework.
3. You need time: This is essential if you want to reap good rewards over time. Consistency is the key to success in this game, so if you're not willing to put in the time, it might not be a good investment for you if you just want to play, since you can invest and earn passively without playing.
With all that said, the next step is to explore where you can assemble or obtain the first two important items, namely the deck of cards and the SPS. So, let's move on to the next section:
How to build a deck of cards in "Peakmonsters" and how to get $SPS?
To get started, you need to log in to the Peakmonsters platform, log in as usual. You should already have the browser extension called "Hive Keychain" installed, or if not, download it from the app store to access it from your mobile device. Just enter your private keys and you're ready to go.
Once you are inside, you will look for the following:
Once you're there, just find the option called "My Decks," select "By Me" a little further down, and finally click on "Build," which is where all the magic happens. What we'll do is create a battle deck that we can always have at our disposal, either to rent or buy with just a few clicks. The best part is that it can be any card, no matter what it is, which gives you a lot of leeway and flexibility.
Now, creating them is very simple, but before you get to that point, you should keep the following in mind:
- Capital and/or available liquidity: This is essential, as it will determine what kind of decks you can buy and complete. For obvious reasons, you won't be able to buy them all, but the idea is to check the prices on the market, whether for purchase or rental, and have in mind which cards you want before heading to "My Decks" in Peakmonsters. Remember that you need two things: not only a deck of cards, but also $SPS.
With that clear, let's move on to one of the most important points, renting or buying $SPS:
How to rent or buy $SPS? + Completing the steps in "My Decks"
Renting $SPS through "Peakmonsters" is very simple. all you have to do is follow the steps in the image to get to the token rental market, click on "New Bid" and fill in all the fields so that your request appears on the list and a whale or user who has this amount of $SPS available for rent takes your offer and you have the SPS available to obtain a multiplier, which is what will earn you both $SPS and GLINT per battle won. Here's how to fill it out:
You must enter the amount of $SPS you want. In this case, 500k seems reasonable to start with. The price you will pay in $DEC daily for each $SPS rented in this case, a reasonable high price for them to take the offer is to set 0.002 DEC, which would be equivalent to 7000 DECS over 7 days, which right now at the time of writing this post is equivalent to $5.10, an amount you would pay weekly for that amount. Now, if you think that's too much, you can try setting a price of 0.001 DEC, setting the weekly price at 3500 $DEC, which is $2.55, something perhaps more reasonable if you're just starting out.

How do I build a deck in My Deck?
Once you are there and select "Thematic" as shown in the image, just experiment by creating several "Decks" to your liking. My recommendation is to use cards from the "Modern Format," which are part of the current "Metagame." However, these are more expensive to buy or rent. If your budget doesn't allow for this, focus on cards from the "Wild" format, most of which are very cheap, with a minimum price of 1 DEC per season. So, at this point, the choice is yours.
Once you have built a "Deck," simply look at the "Buy and Rent" options, which I have highlighted in the last image. When you select everything, the system will find the best price for the card for you. Then, go to your cart and check if you can buy or rent it with your available capital. With that, you can practically start playing.
Final thoughts
With all these steps, you can quickly start playing Splinterlands. The most important thing is the capital you have, which will depend on whether you can buy or rent a deck, and, of course, the minimum amount of $SPS with which you can win a good number of battles and, therefore, $SPS in the process, not to mention GLINT, with which you can build a very strong "Rebellion" reward deck.
