Hello Everyone!

A week ago, we went to watch the lighting of the Christmas tree in our province. We mainly went for our nephew and niece, so they could experience seeing a huge Christmas tree in person, especially since we don’t have one at home. The event was open to everyone and completely free, which made it even more special. There was also a Christmas caroling contest, and it was nice to see different groups performing and spreading the holiday spirit.

The place slowly filled with families, kids, and groups of friends, all waiting patiently for the moment the lights would finally turn on. When the Christmas tree lit up, the crowd cheered, and you could feel the excitement in the air. The tree looked beautiful, glowing brightly against the night sky, and for a moment, everything felt festive and magical.
What made everyone even more excited was what happened after the Christmas tree was lit—there was a fireworks display. The sky suddenly filled with bright colors, and people couldn’t help but cheer as each firework exploded above us. It was the perfect way to cap off the night.

These are my niece and nephew in the photo. They were still wearing their school uniforms because we went straight to the event after classes. Even though they were probably tired from a long day at school, their faces lit up with excitement as they watched the fireworks. Seeing their reactions made the whole experience even more meaningful for us.

Moments like this remind me that Christmas doesn’t have to be expensive or grand to be special. Simple celebrations like this—being together, watching lights and fireworks, and sharing laughter—are what truly make the season memorable. It was a simple night, but one filled with joy, warmth, and memories we will always treasure.
