Hello Hivers! How's your Saturday? Hope everything is ok!
I had a long sleep today and I woke up around 10 in the morning. When I woke up my husband had already done the laundry. He's not just a loving husband but also a responsible one. If he knows I'm so tired from work he will help me with the household chores. Something I truly appreciate is his good heart.
Meanwhile, my daughter Aya is in her room playing Roblox. And I told her to stop playing now because she needs to clean her room. At a young age, she has her own task at home to be responsible in life. I always check if everything is done so well. After that she can play again. I control her mobile, YES Needs to control and there's parental control. I encourage mommies reading my blog to install a family link app. Setting a limit on screen time and enjoy other things. As a mom, I encourage her to do other stuff, like drawing. She said to me , “Mama I don't know how to draw”. I remind her it should not be perfect. I want her to start from the basics and everything starts from it. And practice makes perfect, she will have new skills to unlock. Discover more skills and she can use it in her future endeavors in life. I need to control the hours she's playing roblox and Youtube. And at 6 in the evening everyday, her mobile automatically turned off. She doesn't have homeworks that's why she loves the weekend. A typical weekend for kids to watch movies/tv, play just pure fun.
So after my late brunch, I just watched a movie titled “The Lie” on Netflix. I don't like to give spoilers. Hivers, I want you to check this film.
Fast forward: I went outside to check on our cat. His name is Sigepon, hehehe. My husband came up with this name. Because we have a Tagalog phrase “sige po”. We adopted him but he slept outside. On his first day staying in our house, OMG he dont let us sleep. At night, non stop playing. And we decided he will stay outside, together with our one cat.
Black cats have different meanings. Some think it's “bad luck” but actually it's not true. In other countries having a black cat is a sign of protection. It's just our sigepon is a playful cat, his cat is so special to us.
Before the sun went down, my husband told us to go walking around the village. Were enjoying the simple moment together, the cool breeze, talking and together with our dog named “Kubo”. While walking I took a beautiful photo of my daughter. And I'm sorry if my husband isn't in the photo. As we all know, many foreigners don't like social media. They prefer privacy and I respect his decision.
Nothing fancy for today’s activity. Just a simple beautiful moment and just enjoying the present.
That’s for today! I hope you like our simple weekend. I appreciate your support by reading and commenting on my blog.
Hope you had a wonderful Saturday. Happy weekend!
