Hello my amazing friends, I am @katezauka, welcome to another beautiful week where I will be sharing my experiences for last weekend; Though it didn’t start in good health but I’m glad it ended in good health with lots of joy in my heart.
So diving straight to the point, last Saturday happens to be my off day from work. Unfortunately for me one of my colleagues that was supposed to be at the morning duty had an emergency situation that needed her urgent attention. She then pleaded with me to stand in for her that morning. Considering the fact that she’s a very good friend and I do not have much engagement that Saturday, I accepted even though I know I wasn’t feeling too strong. I thought I could manage the situation as usual, because I’ve been experiencing weakness of the body after my “Hectic but Fun Weekend Experience” which I shared last week. Little did I know that the situation has grown worse.
Funny enough that morning I was taking myself to the hospital to be admitted, thinking that I was going to treat the patients in the hospital. I set up for work that Saturday morning, feeling strong but do not just feel like eating anything. Just when I got to my work place, I went and greeted the manager and other colleagues on duty and went straight up to my office. After about an hour I began to feel weak. It became very tensed that I couldn’t bear it again so I had to quickly call one of my colleagues for help. I couldn’t recognize what happened next, until I woke up to see myself on the sick bed with drip in my left hand. That was how my day went on in the hospital bed until I was discharged by 8:00pm that Saturday.
Immediately I was discharged. I got home, took my bath and eat then had a good rest and even slept off in the process until the next morning which happens to be Sunday. I woke up that morning feeling strong like I didn’t fall sick the previous day. Feeling strong and healthy I had to quickly do some cleaning in the house and headed straight to church at 6:00am. The church service was superb. I would have missed greatly if didn’t show up.
Immediately after the service, I and few group of friends went on to take Sunday photos which happens to be like a culture for us. We barely go home from church without taking pictures. After the whole fun everyone returned to their various homes.
Conclusion:
I would like to conclude my weekend experience story with a piece of advice. And the advice in a simple and short term is; “Take care of your health”. That is the advice I always give my patients but unfortunately I fall victim last weekend. I’ve learnt from the experience and I will ensure it doesn’t happen again.
Thank you for reading through my entry and I hope it’s worth your time.
