Welcome my dear schizophrenic travelers of the Internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, as I will know lately I am watching comedy films, they are simple and have fun so there are not many more reasons to see them, I recently ran into a Jim Carrey film that I had not seen entitled “Me, Myself & Irene” which I had an interesting premise. see it. Without more to add, prepare to fight with yourself because we are about to start.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros esquizofrénicos del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, como sabrán últimamente estoy viendo filmes de comedia, son simples y me divierten por lo que no hace falta muchas más razones para verlos, hace poco me topé con un filme de Jim Carrey que no había visto titulado “Me, Myself & Irene” el cual tenía una premisa que lucía interesante por lo que me dieron ganas de verla. Sin más que agregar, prepárense para luchar con ustedes mismos pues estamos por comenzar.
Me, Myself & Irene was released in 2000, directed by Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly, produced by 20th Century Fox and Conundrum Entertainment, it has a duration of 1 hour and 57 minutes, the story focuses on Charlie, a Rhode Island policeman, is a highly cutting man and respectful, unfortunately people do not respect him because his wife deception and escaped with another man, leaving him only with 3 children who are not his, despite each other as if they were his, however, the lack of respect that all people show towards the drift in a completely irreverent alternate personality, vulgar and rude, additional to this, he must be responsible for escorting a girl who will bring with him an overwhelming amount of problems.
Me, Myself & Irene fue estrenada en el 2000, dirigida por Peter Farrelly y Bobby Farrelly, producida por 20th Century Fox y Conundrum Entertainment, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 57 minutos, la historia se centra en Charlie, un policía de Rhode Island, es un hombre altamente cortes y respetuoso, lamentablemente la gente no le respeta debido a que su mujer lo engaño y se escapó con otro hombre, dejándolo solo con 3 hijos que no son suyos, pese a todo los crió con amor, no obstante, la falta de respeto que toda la gente muestra hacia el derivo en una personalidad alterna completamente irreverente, vulgar y grosera, adicional a ello, debe hacerse responsable de escoltar a una chica que traerá consigo una cantidad abrumadora de problemas.

Lo mismo sucede con este apartado, en una comedia la sociedad y ambientación no son relevantes de ninguna forma, por consiguiente, es un elemento del filme que no tiene ninguna clase de valor narrativo.
The plot is quite stupid and fun in equal parts, the tape enjoys all the characteristic humor of Jim Carrey, from its strange gestures to its ease to look like an absolute insane, this gives a very comic air to the tape from the Vamos. Narratively is basic, its history is a mixture of elements of romance, action and several nonsense, all this makes the tape boring at any time, in general, its main attraction is the completely idiot comedy that manages which makes it interesting from the beginning to the end, being the same one that makes it very digestible.
La trama es bastante estúpida y divertida a partes iguales, la cinta goza de todo el humor característico de Jim Carrey, desde sus gesticulaciones extrañas hasta su facilidad para lucir como un absoluto demente, esto le da un aire muy cómico a la cinta desde el vamos. Narrativamente es básica, su historia es una mezcla de elementos de romance, acción y tonterías varias, todo esto hace que la cinta no sea aburrida en ningún momento, en general, su principal atractivo es la comedia completamente idiota que maneja la cual la hace interesante desde el principio hasta el final, siendo la misma la que la hace muy digerible.
The protagonist is interesting in a certain way, it reflects toxic behavior by letting people abuse him and showing a terrible disrespect for his person, being that throughout the film he should not only save the day but also to make peace with himself to accept themselves as a whole, the character's message is nice and pleasant, he does not have any kind of characterization or anything really relevant but at least the trip is pleasant. The rest of the characters only function as comic elements and/or accessories for the protagonist, they have no kind of exploration or focus of any kind.
El protagonista es interesante de cierta forma, el mismo refleja un comportamiento tóxico al dejar que la gente abuse de él y muestren un irrespeto terrible hacia su persona, siendo que a lo largo de la película no solo debe salvar el día sino también hacer las paces consigo mismo para aceptarse como un todo, el mensaje del personaje es lindo y agradable, el mismo no posee ninguna clase de caracterización ni nada verdaderamente relevante pero por lo menos es agradable el viaje que tiene. El resto de personajes solo fungen como elementos cómicos y/o complementos para el protagonista, no tienen ninguna clase de exploración ni foco de ningún tipo.
Me, Myself & Irene is one of those films that know how to mix a beautiful reflection with a stupid and absurd act of committed, it becomes easy to see it as a result of constantly being happening on something interesting on the screen, the above goes hand in hand with the excellent way that Carrey has to make comedy tapes. It is for all the above that deserves 3 stars of 7, it is part of that group of films that you put an afternoon to disconnect the mind and with the sole objective of laughing from all the nonsense it houses.
Me, Myself & Irene es de esos filmes que saben mezclar una reflexión linda con una cantidad de cometida estúpida y absurda, se hace fácil el verla producto de que constantemente se encuentra sucediendo algo interesante en pantalla, lo anterior va de la mano con la forma excelente que tiene Carrey de hacer cintas de comedia. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3 estrellas de 7, forma parte de ese grupo de películas que pones una tarde para desconectar la mente y con el único objetivo de reírte de todas las tonterías que alberga.
