Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I have missed brawls in the past and it hurts when Gladius cards can now be used in ranked battles using the soulbound summoners. 4 star brawls are rough as the teams tend to be stronger. I am still in the gold league gold foil matches, and it was decent for me, but bad for my guild
Brawl Result
I chose the gold foil modern Brawl and got 4 wins. This time, there was 1 free win because 1 guild did not submit anyone. My rewards for the brawl were 1,571 merits and 26.128 SPS in the 4-star category. My guild ranked 6th place out of the 8 guilds there. I choose to take the gold foil modern brawl because my guild usually doesn't fill all their spots, and I prefer to give my other guild members a chance at the brawls. I did around the same this time, but my guild didn't do as great.
Brawl fights
There were 4 that I lost, 1 won due to surrender, and 2 that I won. So, I included an idea of the match below and a few thoughts about it.
You can find the first match here. I won this match because I had the stronger lineup. My melee monsters destroyed my opponent's backline, and once he started losing monsters, it was an easy win.
You can find the second match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. My opponent had the level and speed advantage so there was nothing I could do.
You can find the third match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. There is not much you can do against Immortalis in a magic only fight and my opponent had silence too.
You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. I missed quite a few attacks, and that was probably due to the level disadvantage. I couldn't really do much due to that speed difference.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. All those master monsters were too much to overcome, and his summoner also increased his magic damage.
Conclusion
Doing 7 fights for 1,571 merits and 26.128 SPS is a good reward for the effort. I did better thist ime around, but my guild didn't do so great. When I checked the results, I think its because we had too many frays with nobody in them.
