Hello ladies of HIVE 👋
Hello @ladiesofhive
In the 277th round of the WOMEN ON HIVE contest, hosted by the community and judged by the esteemed judge @sacra97, I want to be honest, both themes were very interesting, especially the first theme, which was about stupid things someone does to win our hearts. It was very funny and very interesting as a way to share my feelings and life experiences with my partner.
Therefore, for this 277th contest, I chose the first theme: What's the stupidest thing someone has ever done to win your heart?
The first theme I chose made me reminisce about the past when my partner and I were still in a relationship. You know, youth is a time when we are both selfish and want to win.
There are so many memories I have with my partner that sometimes when I think about them, I laugh out loud, and sometimes I wonder how I could have done such things before, considering I was a woman who was easily jealous, but that was in the past.
There are many things someone will do to win my heart. From pretending to be sick so I can give them attention and affection, to pretending to be the hero when I was bullied by my friends at school, even though it was just a drama, to make me fall in love. There are also those who do material things to win my heart.
But among all the stories from my past related to matters of the heart, there is one incident that I can't forget. Sometimes I often think of my time with the man who is now my partner. It happened when my partner and I were still dating.
It started with a misunderstanding and excessive jealousy when I found my boyfriend carrying another woman unconscious in the middle of a basketball court. This happened when we were still in college.
Instantly, my heart was pounding, and my mind was in turmoil. I wouldn't accept my boyfriend being with another woman for any reason. Eventually, I scolded him and stopped responding to his letters; we used letters back then because we didn't have cell phones. I also became indifferent to him, even though he had made it clear he had nothing to do with the woman who fainted.
Finally, I still remember, it was a Saturday night, pouring rain. He left a note saying he wanted to visit my house to apologize and explain to my parents, who already knew about our relationship. I said I wouldn't open the door, but my now-boyfriend did the stupid thing of waiting outside the fence in the rain until he caught a cold and fainted.
That's when my parents took him to the hospital and cared for him for a day. I visited him with my parents. I never imagined my boyfriend would do such a stupid thing to apologize, and do something that will steal my heart to this day.
What was it?...
As my boyfriend lay there, after he explained everything. Finally, in front of my parents, he proposed to me with a ring and said he planned to marry me after college.
"This is a sign of my seriousness in loving you, honey. By Allah, I don't have a special relationship with the woman I'm holding because she fainted," said my ex-girlfriend 😁😁😁
At that time, my heart was completely stolen by the man who is now my life partner.
Thank you for reading my writing. Greetings and happy fasting to my Muslim friends who are fasting. May Allah bless us all, and may peace be upon us all.
