The new crypto has new influencers, narratives, and dynamics with the mass adoption of Bitcoin as a digital asset and the altcoins that have not found a place to themselves in the new world. The most obvious shift in the trend in the market is the switch to being against the banking system and the current financial system to becoming the center of a way of storing the value against inflation.
The paradigm shift is obviously drastic and fundamental as the whole system has to be adapted to the new rules of the new game. While the privacy coins, mimble-wimble, and many other privacy minded projects are left behind, the business - to- business payment systems, money generating decentralized finance and the real world asset projects are being the most trendy cryptocurrencies.
The ongoing bull market, even though the market has been bleeding badly, is based on adapting cryptocurrencies to the world's financial system. Millions of altcoins will never perform as well as in the 2019 and 2021 bull seasons because the expectations, the profile of the customers, and the narratives have thoroughly changed.
If I were a new crypto investor with no bags but some cash, the majority of my crypto bag would consist of RWA projects that are successful in tokenizing the assets in crypto ecosystem and the DeFi projects that generate revenue in any market conditions.
The RWA category does not have thousands of options, ONDO is the most influential project with some strong collaborations. One interesting detail about ONDO is that though it is very popular and successful, it has not been listed on Binance yet. I personally believe that the listing of ONDO will occur in a time when the crypto market is bullish again and we start to onboard newcomers with fresh money.
The tokenization is a new trend with several possibly fraudulent projects. It is almost impossible to be sure whether the token you are advertised is really backed by an asset in the real world. Thus, the investment plan I have is based on ONDO.
It serves several real world assets by tokenizing on chain. Currently there are such services that enable crypto investors to buy US Treasury Bonds with a single token that is minted with a couple of clicks!
Being backed by Blackrock, serving several U.S friendly assets, and having strong collaborations with the leading crypto projects (mostly in the top 50), Ondo Finance may be one of the stars of the new altseason which will be for a limited number of altcoins, not for all.
