6 cents is a good guess in my opinion.

I think we hit at least 5 cents at least once in 2026. I’m leaning towards mid 2026 we hit 5 cents but honestly it’s just a guess right now.

HIVE is inflationary so any recovery is likely to be muted. The increasing HIVE in circulation will mostly just show itself as an increase to the marketcap (if anything).

I mostly think we will hit 5 cents just based on what I see on the anti abuse front.

HIVE mostly has onboarded a lot of HIVE’s version of shitcoiners and these people typically sell HIVE for meme tokens or tokens that require the reward pool to pay some form of an “apr.” I think the reward pool would have to get pretty worthless for that activity to stop being worth people’s time. People will keep running these projects until then because it’s “free money” and that’s what was implied to many people when they were onboarded to HIVE.

Free money is VERY addictive.

I got my main HIVE stack together and I will be DCAing as we go down. I’m not optimistic but am in a position where I would happy to be wrong 🙂

Sorry if this comment comes off the wrong way. Really the best way I could express it.

I hope things are going well in The Pub. I joined for the wrong reasons and I want to move on from BRO. I can’t stay in there without people making fun of me for being a bag holder so I’d rather do something else 😅

No, dude, you said it well. There are so many problems here. And yeah, when LEO goes out and does their onboarding, the few people they do get to stick are the scammers. I've said it again and again over the past 8 years, if the reason to sign up for Hive is "free money" then the only people we are going to attract are scammers. I've thrown around the idea over the years — and always been ignored — but I kind of think Hive needs to hide all rewards. It just encourages the wrong kind of thinking. Does YouTube show us how much each video is earning? Hell no. Not only do they keep that private, but the user will get in trouble for sharing it publicly. Does Medium put a dollar sign below each post? Hell — does the New Yorker put how much they paid the author under the story?

So why the hell does Hive show it?

Anyway, on another note: no one in the Pub meant to make fun of you. I obviously can't speak for everyone, but that's how it has always been with the group we have in there. We talk shit, we tease each other, we mock and make fun of — but in a friendly way, not in a hurtful way. I think especially because you went along with the joke, everyone thought you realized we were just having fun, and so they joked even more. If you come back, I think those jokes will fade, especially if people understand you are a little sensitive about it. No one wants to hurt anyone's feelings, and I'm sorry yours were hurt.

When people made fun of me in BRO it was not about anything personal and BRO was mostly dead/inactive. It was actually funny.

The Pub is not inactive and we are mostly guys in there, If I didn’t go along with it, it would probably get worse. I just expected people to move on and it never seemed to happen.

I think one thing everyone is missing is I am not Ray’s bag holder. Ray had nothing to sell me because he already sold his BRO a long time ago.

I’m the bag holder of other Hivians and a lot of people in The Pub.

So I’m being made fun of for being the bag holder by people that got money at my expense.

I am a sensitive person and I do care what people think. I always have. People in BRO never made fun of me for losing money to them.

@dbooster I genuinely think the culture shifted here a lot over the years and I never noticed until after BRO happened.

I have been surprised by a lot of things after BRO blew up.

I was never in it for the money. I wanted to be a dragon. It was fun so I just bought more cause everyone thought it was hilarious.

The whole thing was hilarious and a lot of fun.

But BRO is over now and it’s time for me to move on to the next fun thing I want to do; being a whale 🙂.
