The ladies were focused, they knew that this match decides whether or not the are able to proceed on to the next round of the competition which is the finals.
When the whistle blows to start the match, everyone was vigilant and played to their strengths. They had worked hard for this and they know what is at stake. They patiently passed the ball around and looked for an opening. This lasted till the 87th minute when finally a direct pass push a ball right into the penalty area and the striker in a sweet connection, launched the ball towards the opposing net and scored the winner.
While it is just one solitary goal, this was all they need to win the match and proceed to the next round when they will meet the competition favourites to vie for the title. They know they have an uphill battle, but they know they've got what it takes to create history.
