During my internship, I had a very interesting supervisor. He is quite a serious man and always wants his interns to learn well and bring back as much from the industry so that the whole internship can be fruitful. He is an advocate of hard work and being detailed in the things we do. And this made me think that he is a man of no nonsense and someone that one should never joke with. He is not just my supervisor but he also leads a team of six reports.
During one of the team lunches, one of his reports tried to fool around and act cute to lighten up the spirit because the team had been rushing for the whole of last week and did show signs of fatigue.
But to everyone's surprise, my supervisor tap on that the shoulders of that lady and said, "Good try acting cute, but you are not as cute as me." And then put his fingers on his cheeks.
When everyone say what my supervisor did, everyone burst into laughter. I guess he is not as serious as I perceived him to be.
