One of Thomas's favourite past time is myth busting and he is very against other people spreading myths. Whenever someone shares an unvalidated story or news, it will make Thomas want to look into it and understand if that story or news is a myth of a fact.
Typically what Thomas will do is to get close to the source and check for consistency. He will also try to seek out if there are actually evidences of truth from what was being shared to him. And this is what Thomas typically do in terms of background checking which is his first level of investigation.
The next phase will be to put up these myths to the test and check if things are truly what they are claimed to be. For example, if being mentioned that a particular method of doing a task is way easier than another, he will actually attempt to test out that method and validate if indeed using the method mentioned in the claim is as good as it claims. And once he thinks it is ok, he will then get others to test out and get feedback.
And when this is all done, he will give his verdict and tell the one whom claimed, good one or busted!
