Hi community!
The Blaugrana beat Real Madrid again with a thrashing at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium.
Fifteen games and 15 wins for Barcelona against Real Madrid. The last one, with the Alfredo Di Stéfano as witness, ended with a 0-4 win for the Catalans. Patri Guijarro's double and goals from Claudia Pina and Alexia Putellas sealed the three points that keep the Blaugrana's record wins in the League - and therefore the lead - and prolong the idyll against their eternal rival.
It took just 191 seconds for Barcelona to open the scoring and silence an Alfredo Di Stéfano that looked its best (record crowd with 5,210 fans). Graham took a corner from the left side that was headed by Alexia in the first instance, with Guijarro pushing the ball into the net on the goal line.
The game went crazy at times and both teams were able to score on the counterattack. Feller created Real Madrid's chance that Alba was unable to finish because she was faced with a great save from Cata and a subsequent clearance from Paredes; Bonmatí led Barcelona's chance and, after dribbling past Misa, passed to Pajor, who failed to finish by passing the ball between his legs.
Beyond the above, the ball was totally controlled by the Blaugrana team, which, with high pressure and very close lines, trapped the Whites in their own half. Each of the visitors' attacks caused a spasm in the home fans, who sighed when they saw another mistake from Pajor and the save from Oihane after Aitana's chip. Patri did not fail, collecting a rebound on the edge of the area and scoring a low and powerful Guijarrazo that entered the cage to mark the gap.
The third goal came before the break in the umpteenth visiting attack. Graham, doing a lot of damage from the right flank, assisted Pina who, arriving in the second row, beat Misa to join the festival.
The first half ended with a double intervention by Misa, after shots by Bonmatí and Mapi, which could have made the Whites' wound even deeper. The local fans even went so far as to sing the song 'Toril, resignation', which was heard last season.
Alexia closed the scoring for the Clásico with four minutes to go by masterfully finishing off a counterattack led by Aitana, tempered by Kika and finished off with a superb chip from Reina.
