Hello everyone
As a city kid, I was clueless about setting a fire with firewood. When my grandma asked me to set the fire for cooking during our village visit, I ended up wasting all the matchsticks. My cousins teased me, and I felt embarrassed. But my grandma's patient smile encouraged me to try again.
Determined to succeed, I watched my grandma closely as she demonstrated the technique. She showed me how to arrange the firewood, add kindling, and light it just right. With her guidance, I finally managed to get the fire going. The sense of accomplishment I felt was immense, and my grandma's praise made it even sweeter.
That experience taught me a valuable lesson about perseverance and humility. I realized that there's always more to learn, and sometimes the most valuable lessons come from unexpected places. From that day on, I approached challenges with a newfound sense of curiosity and determination. And whenever I lit a fire or cooked a meal, I thought back to my grandma's village and the lessons I learned there.
