Hello all Hive People & @Splinterlands lovers,
In the past week I have shared my thoughts on how the Splinterlands team works towards making the game more fun by adding new battle rule sets or modifier. Few days back I was listening to the AMA and come to know about the release of new set of reward cards - Conclave Arcana Reward Set. So be ready for the massive change in the game as soon we will see the new reward cards dropping from the daily loot cheats and the draws. The brand new 43 cards will be added the new life in the game play. New card set has total 43 cards and out of 43, 12 will be common, 12 will be rare, 7 will be epic and 12 will be legendary cards. The present rewards card are soul bond cards, that means they are neither transferable or tradable. But the new set will be mix in nature, the standard foil cards by nature will be soul bond but the Gold foil and Black foil will be transferable and tradable, this give them the premium feel. The cards will be available form loot chests and weekly draws. I guess weekly draws will be same as we have now in Frontier game mode. Players are free to burn the cards form glints and the the amount of glints will be equivalent to the Rebellion reward sets. The new card do not contribute towards the Production Power and are can not participate in the Conflicts. The date of release is not known yet. The team has shown some eye candy during the AMA, the art work was awesome. it will be interesting to see the new abilities. So are you excited and ready for the new card set release?
Game progress
The current season is going good and I am actively participating in the Frontier game play also. I am battling in the Gold I League at present and only 80 rating points are required to unlock the next league i.e. league. The Frontier game is more fun now after I unlocked the Silver league as now the modifier come into picture. At lower ever their was no modifier and for most of the games the Black team was dominating. After silver league the draws are also increased which means I have more chance to get the Black Foil card form draws.
Last season was average and I earned 72567 Glint tokens only form ranked play and this season also will earn more then 80k token for sure. Last day only I spend 150000 Glint token to purchase the 150 draws, this time also their was no legendry form the pull but yes some Shining cards make my day, you can check the below screenshots. I have to review my current reward card collection to see if I have to spend the Glint on current cards or I have to save them for new reward card set which will be release soon. I guess I am able to upgrade the maximum cards to required levels, but still a review is required for concreted decision.

From 150 chests, I received 164cards, 267 potions, 39 energy and 17060 merits. The cards pulled were more then the number if compare with the previous draw purchase and opening.
