A true Friends is blessing and not everyone is lucky enough to have it. We make many friends in our entire life and some of them stay long and most of them become disappear over the time form our life. Just look at your journey itself, when we were in schools we use to have a lots of friends and as we move forward in the life the numbers start decreasing. It's not like we start loosing the ability to make new friends but it's more about the choice and selective nature we start building. During the collage and the professional life we become more alert and selective in nature and that's the reason we do not make much friends and time is also another factor. We also start our family and the family also become the main priority in life. But still some friends attached with us till the last breath and they are like brother to us. Thay are very less in number or may be one or two and we trust them like our siblings. They also stood along with us in every situation of our life.
We are in the war of technology and internet is one of the biggest intension of the century. It changed our life in many ways and itvalso change the way we meet with our friends and even make new friends. In our school and collage or in professional life we meet others and make friends but now days the internet give us the facility that we can make friends even without meeting them in person. This is the new way if friendship. Now days it's easy to make friends online other then offline. Many people prefer to have virtual friends also and one reason is the privacy and the absence of fear. Many people are shy in nature in actual life but they become very open in virtual worlds and express very easily and effectively when they talked with someone online even without having look at them.
The option of making online friends gives the freedom to express themself freely, in my opinion the people are hesitant to express themself and their are many reason form same (varing form person to social) but when they are talking to someone unknown the talk freely and make their point and express themself more effectively. They do not have the fear and in the absence of fear they express freely. When we are talking to someone living next door we will think twice like what they will thing of me, how they will react and it's natural as we have to live in same social ecosystem. The some people want someone which may listen to them, they can share their feelings and secrets too. They do not fear that the secret will come out as the person on other side do not know you or your excect location, they do not know each other offline. This give the sense of safety also. In case of offline friend and share the secret may create a big trouble as the secret may be used against them itself. The privacy is a other reason which increases the online friendship trend. Most of the people online are not knowing each other personally and mostly they talk over test message, chats or voice/video calls and it's rare that they meet in person. The online friends take more care of privacy as they do not have access to our home directly as the case is when we have physical friends.
The online friendship is easy and has their own benifits and here in Hive itself I have made new friends but still I feel the presence of a physical friends is very important, the are lifeline of our life and they are physically present in case we need any help.
