I captured these photos during the welcoming ceremony for the linto guests by the dara baro family at an Acehnese traditional wedding. This tradition involves a reception with great honor and a strong cultural nuance.

The image shows the linto baro (groom) wearing maroon traditional Acehnese attire with magnificent gold embroidery, accompanied by family and relatives. A golden umbrella is held over the linto's head as a symbol of protection and respect.

Several members of the darabaro family stand in front of the linto to exchange the umbrellas they brought.

This tradition is not only part of the wedding procession, but also a manifestation of the preservation of a cultural heritage that continues to be preserved by the community to this day.

As usual, here are some photographs of the enchanting beauty of this traditional ceremony, which takes place with smiles and prayers. I hope you enjoy these photos.
