A couple of miles hike out of the town to the municipal graveyard on an afternoon where the flags were cracking in the upper 80's Fahrenheit, (don't ask me what that is in centigrade as I haven't got a clue.) was perhaps not the best idea I have ever had.

All I can say is thank the lord I had my sunshades on as the colours on such a bright day would otherwise have scalded my retinas beyond repair
Maybe that is why I had the place to myself, mad dogs and englishmen and all that; the locals must come at sunrise or sunset, good thinking batman.

It was good to see some of the more senior residents who have lived here longer than they did as they walked the earth.
