Who else has noticed that there's a big difference in terms of moving from one geographical area to another just to communicate with somebody, like in the olden days you would see where they travel from a long distance just to pass on some information or just to hear from their love ones but in these our modernized century and age we have instant communication with who so ever no matter the distance like worldwide, I mean it's something to be really grateful for that we don't have to cover all those distance to talk to a person that is far from us, a new technology of using phones came out that became a bridge to that gap, sometimes I would just sit and be looking for who to call in my contact list that it has been awhile I saw, that for a fact makes life easier for all of us.
But wait a second those that really replace the real connection we feel when we get to meet each other and discuss, I won't lie sometimes I try hard to detect the person's face or feelings while talking on phone, I would be asking myself how the person is feeling at that time just to know how to connect with the person and sometimes I fail to connect, and I would feel if I should just see the person physically I would know how to start, so I think those privileges we get that we can easily talk to loved ones through the phone might be a plus that it can never replace those deep connection we feel in real life because a phone might be lying to you about one thing or the other through the phone but physically they can't hide it, there was a time my mom was terribly sick and we never knew because we weren't at home but meanwhile we talk on the phone almost everyday and she never mentioned but it was until something took me home that I got to know what was really happening, so my whole point here is that modern technology might be making life easier but it doesn't fill all vacuum.
Another sweet aspect of modern technology is that it gives you pleasure in exchange for discomfort, in situations where you walk miles to buy something you need or you even travel miles inorder to get that particular product but modern technology has brought them to your doorstep where you no longer discomfort yourself like that again but order them online and they be delivered to your doorstep bringing 💯 convenience and pleasure, painting the picture of making life easier for but coming down and looking at it from a different aspect it makes you to not interact with other humans making you become socially isolated which is not good for the human mind, it makes that person always inward, sometimes lonely because that phone wouldn't give you all the company you need.
Modern technology definitely has it advantages where one of it is making life easier but as it is said anything that has an advantage surely had a disadvantage so does modern technology, it gives you an easy life with one hand but in turn collects those full satisfaction and leaves you with emptiness, the remedy for this is to level a balance between the use of over reliance in modern technology and the real life connection.
