Letting Go: Free Yourself From Anger And Anxiety

in Reflections8 days ago

Have you ever noticed how it feels to hold on to anger for a very long period of time? It feels very stressful and draining. It's like carrying a huge bag of rocks on your back and the weight keeps holding you back from moving freely.

Not only does it wear us out physically or mentally, but with time it becomes a burden for the people even around you. Your loved ones can feel the tension of your anger, your co-workers can sense that things are not going well and even you can't escape the effects.

But here is a good example. Here is some good news. You can choose to let go of that anger. Life does not have to be a constant wind of past hurts that happen to you. You should let the past go, let the past be the past and the worry should always be about the future.

There are so many better ways to spend your energy and it starts by freeing your mind. Holding on to anger is very, very exhausting. Maybe someone caught you off in a traffic or an old argument. Both are like mental marathons without the finish line, they drain your energy and they steal your peace and joy and the worst is that dispute over into your relationship.

You snap at your partner, shut out your friends or just bring out a cloud of negativity so nobody wins when you are stalking their cycles.

So it is time to let go. letting go, it's where the magic happens. It's not about ignoring your feelings and pretend like they don't exist it's about choosing not to let your feelings or emotions control you all the time. I think starting might be overwhelming but start small, take a deep breath.

You can go for work or a small workout write down what is bothering you and then take it up step by step, stop reminding yourself of the past, what has happened has happened and you can't change it now instead focus on what might happen now or in the future. Maybe you can just take a cup of tea or just hang out with a friend or take on that hobby for a moment, the hobby that you love.

What you love doing at least this would fill your tank, not empty it, they remind you that your energy is precious and you have to channel it to the right place letting go does not mean you are weak, it's just a strength in action, it is like you telling yourself I deserve peace and I'm choosing it now. You feel lighter and the people around you. You notice that something in you is becoming different, your smile will change and you will be able to see that you are not alone.

The past has changed, you will be able to see that you are happy and the past will be gone, your energy will be admirable, your presence will be uplifting. Imagine directing all those mental energy day into chasing your dreams trying to help someone build up their life or just enjoy the moment You're in now

Life is too short to keep carrying heavy loads from the past to the present. Drop those load step forward and spend your energy on what makes you happy and what uplifts you and help everyone around you shine.

Let's drop our loads, throw away the trash, and drop the excess baggage. Life is much better and easier when you unload.

I use to do that, I could be angry with someone for months, and the funny part of it is that whenever I see that person I feel pain in my heart, and I talk to myself, thank God i have overcome that about me. When people wrong me I let go even without them apologizing. Thanks for sharing.
