Aisha got home exhausted from work, all she wanted was a warm shower and a cup of coffee. She dashed into her room like an intruder flunged her bag towards the bed. She pulled her black shoes and tossed them at the wooden wardrobe close to the window. She undressed and dashed into the bathroom.
She was just starting to shower when she heard the doorbell, She grabbed her bathrobe and walked towards the door, peered through the peephole to see who it was but no one was there. She began to wonder if she actually heard the bell or if it was something else that made the sound.
Just as she turned to head back to the bathroom the bell rang again but this time Aisha jumped out of fear, grabbing the ends of her robe and pulling them together.
"Who is there?" Aisha’s voice cracked in fear as she took one more step closer to the door, she peeped through the peephole on the door but sighted no one then she went ahead to open the door.
"Boo…!"
"Arrrgh!" Aisha screamed.
"It's me, Michael. Did I scare you?"
"Oh my God! Why would you do such a thing? It's late for goodness' sake…!"
"I missed my baby", Michael replied as he shut the door behind him and then he grabbed Aisha and kissed her but she was still trying to put herself together.
"I missed you too, but you scared me".
"I am sorry my love, I will try not to scare you next time".
