No gold coins will be minted for general circulation. Just limited runs like they do with the eagles. Limited run for collectors. As eagles have a far lower value and ads legal tender, this is like that and won’t be coins in real general circulation like we could go to a bank and get them or something.

They do these "studies" all the time, trust me it ain't happening in a circulation type thing. Not made of gold anyway.

        Oh I wasn't thinking gold. Maybe gold colored, but some base metal.
