Hice esta linda chaqueta corta con un trozo de tela que me quedó de una extensión a un vestido, esta tela es bordada, también muy costosa, era una lástima no hacer algo más con ella.
Se me ocurrió este modelo, la verdad fue basta nte complejo elaborarla porque eran piezas dobles y no recordaba cómo podía coserlas, agregué detalles como bolsillos, medio aros y encaje, el cierre me encantó porque es uno de los que mejor me ha quedado al coserlo.
Este tipo de prenda de vestir está de moda sobre un vestido, acompáñame en el paso a paso, te explico cómo lo logré.

I made this cute short jacket with a piece of fabric I had left over from extending a dress. This fabric is embroidered and also very expensive, so it would have been a shame not to do something else with it.
I came up with this design, but it was actually quite complex to make because there were double pieces and I couldn't remember how to sew them. I added details such as pockets, half rings and lace. I love the fastening because it's one of the best I've ever sewn.
This type of garment is fashionable over a dress. Follow along with me step by step and I'll explain how I did it.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Si no tienes un patrón de corte puedes usar una blusa que tengas que te quede bien, debes cortar dos piezas de cada lateral y una sola para la espalda.
Corta dos piezas para los bolsillos y dos piezas para pasarlo por la media luna.
En el bolsillo realizo un doblez que queda como decoración.

If you don't have a cutting pattern, you can use a blouse that fits you well. Cut two pieces from each side and one piece for the back.
Cut two pieces for the pockets and two pieces for the crescent shape.
I make a fold in the pocket for decoration.

Cose la orilla de la decoración en los bolsillos y el dobladillo en la parte superior.
Cose las pequeñas piezas donde van las media luna, voltea, introduce la media luna y cose para fijar.
Realiza un dobladillo en la pieza de la espalda tanto las mangas como el cuello.
Fija los bolsillos en la parte delantera de cada pieza y luego si es tu gusto cose un botón para decorar.
Cuando cosas cada bolsillo, no olvides coser la pieza de las media luna.
Ahora junta frente con frente cada pieza y cose por el lateral del cuello y el frente. Luego voltea la pieza.

Sew the edge of the decoration onto the pockets and the hem at the top.
Sew the small pieces where the crescent moons go, turn them over, insert the crescent moon and sew to secure.
Hem the back piece, both the sleeves and the neckline.
Attach the pockets to the front of each piece and then, if you like, sew on a button for decoration.
When sewing each pocket, do not forget to sew the crescent piece.
Now join each piece front to front and sew along the side of the neck and the front. Then turn the piece inside out.

Cierra con costura la tira delos hombros y voltea.
Cierra los laterales de la misma forma.
Coloca las piezas al derecho con derecho y el cierre intermedio, cose con una recta cada lado y voltea.
Ahora cose por toda la orilla de la pieza pasando por hombros, espalda, cierre.

Sew the shoulder strip closed and turn inside out.
Close the sides in the same way.
Place the pieces right sides together with the intermediate fastening, sew each side with a straight stitch and turn inside out.
Now sew around the entire edge of the piece, passing through the shoulders, back and fastening.

Cose un ruedo en la parte inferior y luego sobre él un encaje con zig zag.
Estoy contenta por haber logrado este proyecto, fue una costura de alta dificultad, fue todo un desafío para mí que no soy costurera, solo tengo los conocimientos que me dejó mi madre que sí lo era. Adicional a ello fue un desafío para mí porque estoy en plena recaída de salud y sumado a los cortes eléctricos, de verdad me contenta que quedara bonito y bien. Espero les guste.

I am happy to have completed this project. It was a very difficult sewing job and quite a challenge for me, as I am not a seamstress.
