Caja para regalos: Corazón dorado

Hace mucho no sabía lo que era tomarme un descanso, mi cuerpo lo necesitaba, aprovechando la energía bonita de este día, hice una linda caja para regalos con forma de corazón, la cartulina es preciosa, sin embargo su textura dorada espejo fue un contratiempo para tomar fotografías, de hecho, la cajita en persona quedó preciosa.
La idea principal es para usarla como envoltorio de regalo, peor al terminarla se me ocurre que puedo usarla para muchas cosas más como por ejemplo joyero.
He visto estos envoltorios en 3 y hasta 5$, no requiere de muchos materiales y para realizarla gasté menos de 1$, así que lo veo rentable.

Hello everyone!
It’s been ages since I last took a break; my body really needed it. Making the most of the lovely energy of this day, I made a pretty heart-shaped gift box. The card is gorgeous, though its mirror-like gold finish made it tricky to photograph; in fact, the box looks absolutely lovely in person.
The main idea is to use it as gift wrapping, but once I’d finished it, it occurred to me that I could use it for lots of other things, such as a jewellery box.
I’ve seen these gift boxes for $3 and even $5; it doesn’t require many materials, and it cost me less than $1 to make, so I reckon it’s good value for money.

Necesitamos el molde de corazon y que este tenga ambos lados planos. Para que la forma sea perfecta hacemos el corazón a partir de un cuadrado., luego lo doblamos en triangulo y cortamos el área redonda.
Marcamos ambos corazones de cada lado, dejando una caja de 6 centímetros de separación entre ambos corazones, esta medida será el alto de la caja, de ancho 6,5 centímetros.
Marca un listón de 6 centímetros de ancho por el largo de la cartulina.
Corta todas las piezas por el área marcada.
Recorta un rectángulo con las medidas de la separación.

We need a heart-shaped template with both sides flat. To ensure the shape is perfect, we start by making the heart from a square, then fold it into a triangle and cut out the round section.
Mark both hearts on each side, leaving a 6-centimetre gap between them; this measurement will be the height of the box, which is 6.5 centimetres wide.
Mark a strip 6 centimetres wide along the length of the card.
Cut out all the pieces along the marked lines.
Cut out a rectangle to the dimensions of the gap.

Dobla las piezas de la base hacia adentro.
Recorta un rectángulo de cartulina para forrar la base.
Pega la cartulina a la base.
Dobla la cartulina respetando las medidas de la base.
Pega esta ultima pieza a la base.
Ahora con la caja hecha pégala al corazon base con el área de empate del lado del doblez.

Fold the base pieces inwards.
Cut out a rectangle of card to line the base.
Stick the card to the base.
Fold the card to match the dimensions of the base.
Stick this final piece to the base.
Now that the box is made, stick it to the heart-shaped base, aligning the overlap with the fold.

Realiza un lazo sencillo con la cinta.
Pega dos tiras en la parte de arriba y luego pega el lazo sobre ellos.
Recorta dos tiras mas y pega cada una a la base.
Las tiras no solo funcionan como adorno sino para cerrar la caja.
Espero te guste esta idea, me recordó a las cajas que ice de colección de Sanrio.

Make a simple bow with the ribbon.
Stick two strips to the top and then stick the bow on top of them.
Cut out two more strips and stick each one to the base.
The strips serve not only as decoration but also to close the box.
I hope you like this idea; it reminded me of the boxes I made for my Sanrio collection.
