Para todos los fans de Sanrio continuo con la colección de personajes de Hello Kitty haciendo cajitas de regalo, en esta ocasión recreé al personaje Chococat, un gatito muy juguetón, curioso que vive en Chocotown, le encanta comer chocolates y sus antenas son grandes receptoras de información. Te muestro el paso a paso y el molde para realizar esta caja ya que no encontré y creo que no los hay por internet. Esta cajita es excelente para ponerle dentro obsequios, chocolates o usarlo como cotillón infantil para fiestas.

Hello everyone!
For all Sanrio fans, I’m continuing my collection of Hello Kitty characters by making gift boxes. This time, I’ve recreated Chococat, a very playful, curious little kitten who lives in Chocotown. He loves eating chocolates, and his antennae are great for picking up information. I’ll show you the step-by-step guide and the template for making this box, as I couldn’t find one online and I don’t think any are available. This little box is perfect for holding gifts or chocolates, or for use as a children’s party favour.

Paso a paso / Step by Step
Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Cartulina color negro:
Con ayuda de una imagen de referencia del personaje que dejaré al final de esta publicación, recreo la cara del personaje, luego tomo las medidas y remarco en la cartulina, la base es de 4 centímetros de separación entre una cara y la otra, cuando remarques el otro lado procura voltear la pieza.
Los laterales tienen medidas de 6 centímetros de ancho por 6 centímetros de largo, con un centímetro remarcado de los lados y la base para poder pegarlo, se necesitan dos piezas.
También 4 pares de pupilas y la cinta del asa que es de 4 centímetros de ancho por el largo de la cartulina tamaño carta.
Cartulina color blanco:
Dibujamos 4 cuencas para los ojos son unos óvalos.
Una tira de 3 centímetros de ancho por el largo de la cartulina tamaño carta.
Resto de los colores:
Dos pares de nariz y 4 piezas para la parte interna de la cabeza.
8 tiras delgadas de 5 centímetros de largo para los bigotes.
Para la decoración, dibuja dos corazones.

Black card:
Using a reference image of the character, which I’ll include at the end of this post, I recreate the character’s face, then take the measurements and mark them out on the card. The base has a 4-centimetre gap between one face and the other; when marking out the other side, make sure to turn the piece over.
The side pieces are 6 centimetres wide by 6 centimetres long, with a 1-centimetre margin marked on the sides and the base so they can be glued; you will need two pieces.
You will also need 4 pairs of pupils and the handle strip, which is 4 centimetres wide and the length of the A4 card.
White card:
Draw 4 eye sockets; these are ovals.
A strip 3 centimetres wide and the length of the A4 card.
Remaining colours:
Two pairs of noses and 4 pieces for the inside of the head.
8 thin strips 5 centimetres long for the whiskers.
For decoration, draw two hearts.

Recorta todas las piezas siguiendo la línea guía.
Pega cada pieza en el lugar que corresponde.

Cut out all the pieces along the guide lines.
Stick each piece in the correct place.
Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Dobla las pestañas laterales y de la base.
Pega los laterales a la base.
Pega el asa dentro de la caja en la pieza lateral.
Pega cada bigote en la parte frontal o trasera, pienso que si lo hubiera pegado por la parte de atrás no se vería tanto el pegamento quedaría más prolijo.

Fold the side flaps and the base flaps.
Glue the sides to the base.
Glue the handle inside the box onto the side panel.
Glue each tab onto the front or back; I think if you’d glued it to the back, the glue wouldn’t be so visible and it would look neater.
