Who Comes to Equity

We had one of our Company Auditors pay our unit a visit on Tuesday and it was quite the drama. She really went hard on us and it felt as though she carried a vendetta against us or something. Of course at the end of it all she's just doing her job, but I think doing it all little too well if you ask me, to the extent that we had a small but significant exchange over some concerns that she raised which I felt were uncalled for.

Needless to say I was quite pissed by the way she handled things, as I felt that she came down too hard in some needless areas. Yet I understand that it is her job. It got me philosophical though. I think it is possible to act professionally and with empathy at the same time because it is something I try to do. I think being someone in a privileged position there should be some empathy training, or at least code of conduct to live bye.

He was comes to equity after all, must come with clean hands. People in decision making positions seem to forget that. It's why I've always been somewhat fascinated by how powerful a Judge is for instance, especially when decisions can easily be compromised by feelings. We expect them to objectively make decisions based on their position but how does one say for sure?
