Hello, friends
Many things can happen in an instant within the mind of an artist. In my case, as a musician, one of the first things I noticed was that the coffee machines in the cafes near my house sound identical. However, they are different brands and models.
It's just a curiosity.

Something that cafes have in common is that we always go to them when we need to think or spend some time alone. But it's precisely at that moment, described in this week's prompt, that I begin to observe everything around me.
The coffee hasn't arrived, so it's the perfect time to start imagining everything that's happening in the coffee shop.

If I look toward the bar, I see the bartender preparing the coffees. Is it my order? What other orders is he preparing?
Is it another cappuccino, like mine? Perhaps other people ordered espressos; they come out faster.
Then I watch the tables where customers are waiting for their orders and try to guess what kind of coffee they ordered.
It's an interesting game, and I often win.

Sometimes, when I'm waiting for my husband, I try to calculate the exact time he should arrive and order a cappuccino, his favorite, hoping it will be ready shortly after he joins me.
There are many variables I have to consider for this calculation, but I'm almost never wrong.

There are many things you can do while you're in that magical place that is a coffee shop. My husband and I also play at making up stories about the other customers around us. This is something I also do when I'm alone. I just never know if I'm right or not, since it's just that, a game, but it's entertaining.

And, of course, you also think with much more calm and tranquility in that private microcosm that coffee shops offer.
It's incredible that, even surrounded by people, with the murmur of their voices and the sounds of equipment, dishes, and cutlery, you can sit alone, invisible to the world.
That feeling is almost magical. And, to top it all off, there's coffee at your disposal.
All that magic can happen in just an instant. What more could we ask for?
