The other day chatting with Buhito he told me that he really wanted to learn to fly, so we chose a day that was sunny and windless to prevent the little owl from falling or being carried by the wind to Antarctica. In the picture you see here we have implemented a technique for him to learn to fly which consists of hanging him by his wings on a clothesline with pins and making him spin so he can experience how it feels to fly, but I must tell you that this technique failed because it gave him vertigo and the poor owl just came out dizzy and with a phobia of flying, so we decided that we would spend the rest of the day doing a tour of our garden to calm him down a bit, will you join us?

Buhito feels safer and more comfortable on the ground, he is a special bird, so I must tell you that he enjoyed this tour to the fullest and calmed down immediately, soon the discomfort caused by the fear of flying disappeared. Our garden has many plants, that's why Buhito perched on almost all of them because most of them are small or of little height, so he won't feel vertigo and will be able to enjoy the warm sun of that afternoon. He climbs some plants and small pots that decorate the garden and that the sun makes them look brighter.

Buhito likes to climb, as long as the trees are not too tall and difficult to climb, with his little claws he climbs until he reaches the maximum height that his vertigo to heights tolerates, cat complex is what I see here. He tried to reach the top of this palm tree, but he only got that far, although it is a good approach to take a good picture to make him look like the mightiest on the planet. This palm tree is located in front of Buhito's nest and is very old, more than 15 years old to be precise.

A bush in the shape of a padlock? We could say that Buhito is looking for someone who is worthy of having the key to this padlock and thus open it, I guess it is the lock of his frivolous heart and only a buhita worthy of having his love can have the key to his heart. Those are crazy ideas of mine, in reality it is a small bush that my grandfather usually gives the shape of a padlock, it has also been in our garden for many years and that is the only shape I have seen until then, my grandfather kept it like that for ever and ever.

We went inside my grandfather's winter garden, he saw us hanging around the garden and gave us permission to take some pictures in his winter garden. He has many small pots and a nice corner where you can place nice flowers and I also see a cactus over there, I don't know how he makes it last, I had many cactus in pots and they all ended up in cactus heaven, here we could say that it is the gardener's hand that makes a garden bloom, isn't it? Anyway, the visit to the interior of this winter garden was short, we still had a long way to go and Buhito was very excited.

A lost scene from the movie Titanic? Let's imagine the melody in the background and Buhito feeling the breeze of the green ocean, which in this case would be the grass and suddenly, the TitanOwl crashes into a huge palm tree and makes him fly off into the inside of a magic tree we found over there, a new place where Buhito can nest? The hole fits his needs, I think it would be a nice space for Buhito to live and do his mischief from there or at least until someone comes to rescue him, remember that he is now a castaway of the TitanOwl. Well, that's the end of this feathered version of Titanic.

Buhito was rescued a few hours later, by me, that hole was no place for an owl with so much evil to offer to the world, I know I will regret not having left him there, but look how happy he looks climbing more and more trees and plants. In my garden there are many shrubs with a rounded shape, they are the most abundant and they are Buhito's favorite because they are easy to climb and they don't cover his beauty so much, that is, he can show off more. He learned nothing from his brief wreck and stay in the magic tree, I knew I was going to regret it.

The little ray of sun, how ironic that Buhito poses next to this flower with that name, in any case, Buhito would be the little ray of darkness. I photographed this plant twice because during the day the flower is open and when the sun goes down it closes its small petals to sleep all night long, the same thing Buhito should be doing, but as the saying goes, evil does not sleep.

We stopped to pay a visit to the wise penguin, this penguin is not Bizcochito, I think it is a distant relative, very distant and very old, it has its good years in my garden, several coats of paint and a couple of repairs, but still it stands firm, you can tell it is a good material it is made of. The young owl and the veteran penguin are surrounded by beautiful carnations, in fact, it is my favorite flower bed, it is the most colorful and with more variety of mini-plants, it is the flower bed of that penguin that gave Buhito permission to visit and photograph it, maybe he should have asked him for advice of kindness or to enlighten him a little with his penguin wisdom, but he only deigned to visit him for a while and now, another time.

Lawn with flowers? That's right, those little white flowers belong to the lawn in front of my house, which during the spring and summer seasons is full of bees and butterflies because that flower, as small as it is, has pollen. There were so many little flowers that day that it was impossible to photograph them all, so we chose the area with more abundance for Buhito to lie on the grass for a while and feel the freshness of the earth and be surrounded by beautiful white flowers.

The first picture looks like a painting, but we had to leave because Buhito was already tired of walking so much, the garden is small for me, but huge for an owl with little paws. We took a couple more pictures and I let him catch his breath on the bars of my window and from there Buhito wants to say “Thank you and see you later”. We had fun and by the way we shared with you the beautiful garden that we have and that my grandparents have created for more than 50 years, that's right, this house and this garden are more than 50 years old, many plants have passed through here, but this is how it looks nowadays and Buhito could enjoy a nice time connected with nature, thank you for joining us!
