It's real, it's here, it's happening folks, the final dCity distribution - over 70 thousand HIVEs to send out - but... Before we dive in, let's take a moment to remember fondly dCity, a classic HIVE game that taught me (personally) more about game theory than my college textbook.
Some people might have an impression that dCity "failed" for one reason or another, which I find somehow really funny for a game now distributing 70,000 HIVE after 8 years of fun continuously paying out what totals to hundreds of thousands of HIVE to the players. I certainly consider myself a "winner" of dCity, and I know there are others too, but on the margin whether you feel you "won" or "lost", is more about how you decided to play than anything else. As most things in life, timing and technique are also a big part of the final results.
dCity managed to achieve this amazing success by using a "fund" model - in the end multiple funds were managed across the years - gains on management passed to the players - and just today I got "what's left" sent to me. Thanks for all the fish! Just kidding, this is the final claimdrop seeded: 70,125.5 HIVE.
How to claim your portion of this HIVE:
1. Send 1 Million SIM tokens to @null!
In this final claim drops - each 1 million (1M) SIM sent to @null we be counted as an entry. The 70125.5 HIVE will be divided between the all the claims sent to @null - multiple millions can be sent at once.
2. You must claim - before the deadline.
If you sleep now, there is nothing more to be done. Because of this we will give 60 days from this post - making 6/26/26 the day to look forward to.
