The second airdrop summoner has been announced and @jeffopenscards Captain Frankie has been unleashed on the seas of Praetoria.

Although an Awakened Beast himself Captain Frankie has bloodline synergies with both Rodentian and Tideborn providing them with inspire, an ability that give +1 melee power to all allied units, which could be crazy if you can get a full team of the correct bloodline getting +5 melee.
One of the best abilities to use with Inspire is Piercing so you can get through that armour and you get to choose 2 units to apply that to, which if that wasn't enough you also get to give them True Strike so you have 100% chance of hitting...
Melee just got an upgrade with this Archon...
My current splinterlands deck is built to the silver level (with a couple of exceptions) so its time to take a look at what this Archon adds to my modern play with his bloodline synergies.

Rodentian

Tideborn

Key Units
![]() | From those lists Saltwraith Bulkhead is going to be a great tank, even if he falls asleep he is taking a bit of damage at Intermediate (silver) level and the oppress can always come in handy for pesky none attck units put up front on the opposing line ups |
![]() | Saltwraith Pirate, looks like these guys were meant to work together.., doesn't need to be one of the targets of true strike but also doesn't have sneak or opportunity so may need to be used in specific rule modifiers - although that bloodline tribute could be key |
![]() | A sneaky critter, Gonach Excavator, could be hitting the backline of your opponents team for 9 even at Silver level, thats pretty impressive. |
![]() | This one may not benefit personally from the inspire but an Anasth Soothsayer keeping everyone else alive is also a key contribution! Healing that Bulkhead while also protecting the back line from sneak/opportunity |
![]() | The dual action of protecting the Bulkhead with repair while teaming up with the Excavator to ttack the backline makes Tidal Tsunamist a great option in the line up too. |
of course there are many more options that are outside the two bloodlines but the benefit of inspire with this team just looks like an opportunity too good to miss out on.
Closing
I've always been a player who likes to just hit things, huge melee attacks are perfect, looks like I need to add to my conflict wagons and ensure I can get this Archon to silver level, also added a few rodentians and tideborn to my shopping list!
