Hello My Fellow Splinterlands Summoners
Soon we will have Conclave Arcana edition released, the presale is already undergo right now. Now the real question is, have you prepared for this new edition? What is your plan, do you plan to jump into the presale or you will wait later to buy some cards individually?
I know there are many of questions there. I have some plans for Conclave Arcana edition. So here are my top 3 plans, which the first one is already out from my plan.
Join the Presale And Aim Black Foil Card
This is my main plan actually. To get 84 packs of Alchemy packs, which this guarantees me for at least one Black Foil Card. I want to get at least one black foil cards, because it is equal to multiple gold foil cards to reach max level.
So Money wise, I believe this is the best plan what should be in my reach. $1.000 for this purchase. Is it worth the money? Don't know well, if I hit that black foil on Legendary or Epics, definitely It is worth the spending.
Alchemy packs can give you the lowest guarantee black foil cards compared to Standard packs and Legendary packs. Legendary packs are awesome, if you get the black foil, you have the highest odds to get Legendary Black foil. However the cost is a lot higher and I think Legendary and Alchemy have high odds to lose some money.
For Alchemy, what if the gold foil cards are dominated in Common and Rare? Definitely we will lose the money. A great common or rare gold foil card usually range around 5-8 dollars only, that's for the best. The lame or not favorite one will range below 1 dollar.
And take a look at these Rebellion Legendary cards. They all below $20,some even at $4 to $5. This is the risk if you get Legendary Pack, you might hit big loss after the opening.
But this is a game anyway. We don't want to kill some fun in pack opening, right?
Another reason why I think getting 84 Alchemy presale packs is the best way is because of these Presale Promo cards. I will be getting 25 copies of Arcane Skinwalker, and this guarantees me for atleast one Gold Foil card. I will be keeping the gold foil cards and sell those Promo regular foils.
I might not need the extra copy of Gramel The Hunger, I might just sell the legendary one. Or maybe I will buy another copy to get it up to level 2. Don't know for sure, but it seems a bad one for me if I have to spend more.
Although this is the best plan for me, however I think I have to forfeit this move. I have completed a work in real world and my client fails to pay me. They do not have the fund to pay my invoice, which is around forty thousands bucks.
It sucks, does it? But I have to be realistic here. The intended fund has not come yet, and I think it won't be coming in on time. So sadly I have to forfeit this one regarding of the time.
There are 6 days more to go, and I have to plan another way to adopt this Conclave Arcana set.
The Exit Plan
I call this my exit plan, if within the remaining time I really can not receive the fund from my client. Well, it is not about getting out from Splinterlands anyway.
My exit plan is to get atleast 12 Starter packs on the first day of Conclave Arcana is released. On that day, Chaos Legion will be out from Modern Rank Battles, and I need some Conclave Arcana cards to be more competitive in my battles.
Why 12 packs? Because it will give me minimum 12 rare cards. at least it will give me some alternative selection for my line up. But this packs are not the last one.
Later I will buy some cards individually, trying to get some good cards up to silver league level caps. This way it will be more cost friendly however I will still able to contribute to in-game sales.
Buying cards or packs directly from in-game or developers are needed to show our supports to this game. It doesn't have to huge, but atleast up to some level that represent our capacity to show our concern and care towards the game.
