Hello Splinterlands Summoners
Another week has passed, not it's time for my new Splinterland post. Every weekend I write a couple of Splinterlands post, Most of them are my experience and opinion which come after playing this game for years.
Splinterlands is a great game, not the best of course, but it is one of the best blockchain games at the moment. There are a lot we can learn about blockchain game and play to earn stuff just by mingling in Splinterlands Community.
Today I will share a hack for a Born Again ruleset. Born Again ruleset is a ruleset that gives all units on the battle field a rebirth ability. When anyone dies, they get revived back alive with 1 health point.
In normal situation, a mage can easily send those revived units back to afterlife due to tha 1 life point. So the only resistance or the thing that back the unit is their armor. This is why Void Armor will be a suitable ability, and I would say it is a perfect hack during Born Again ruleset.
Grandmaster Rathe is the perfect summoner for this ruleset, however that summoner exists in Wild Format. I see pointless to talk about Grandmaster Rathe here, so I will pick another unit. It is easier to talk about strategy and meta if we relate them directly to some units.
Silverblade Fighter is a great example for this ruleset, due to his void armor and his extra ordinary high armor. Let say I have level 4 Silverblade Fighter who has 7 armor, when he dies, he will be revived with 7 armor. So it is like having him revived with full life.
Well he is not the best due to his lack of attack power, but overall if you want a thank that can exploit the born again ruleset, Silverblade Fighter is the guy you are looking for!
HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE
It will not a good Splinterlands post if we don't employ in a battle, right?
This is actually a good battle for reference. it has a small mana cap so it is like you have to exploit these ruleset with anything you can tweak on your line up. Definitely it is not about having a good meta, but like setting a meta out of the box too.
Of course we are talking about Born Again so it has to have born again ruleset. The secondary ruleset is interesting too, Tis But Scratches, which give all unit a cripple ability.
I believe Silverblade Fighter will perform outstandingly in these ruleset. The only problem I could have is poison, yes a poison ability could ruin my meta but I don't think it will happen regarding we only have 15 mana cap here.
Round two starts with the units are still the same, 4 vs 4. However there are two units which are already died and got revived. In my team, it is the Frigid Wolf which is aimed by their Dragon Egg Forager. In their team, it is their tank Daigendark Surveyor.
Round 3 starts with 3 vs 3, we both lose a unit, the same unit that has got revived in the first round.
They manage to kill my Silverblade Fighter, however as I have predicted before... He gets revived with full armor. So it's like fully refreshed here
Round 5 is the last, my team manage to wiped them all. Good Game
15 Mana cap has a different traits than big mana cap. if it is a big mana battle, Silverblade Fighter might be useless because I will expect my opponent coming with shatter to break any armor. Or maybe a unit with poison ability.
However in 15 mana cap, you can only rely on one units, or maybe two units. This battle both of us rely on two units. I do not think my opponent is a bad one, because if I do not use Silverblade Fighter, their magic damage would eliminate any tank very fast. That is what Shock Tropper is for.
I believe I have shown how good Silverblade Fighter in the Born Again ruleset. So That's all for today post, you are free to leave any message in the comment below.
