RE: Meditating With A Friend On A Weekend Afternoon | A Mixed Media Project

in CELF Magazine11 days ago (edited)

I cannot say I have a mortal confidant at the moment ... I take long walks and write in my journals and talk to the Lord about the deep things, and I find He is enough. The challenge with this becomes, though, that people in general stress me even more because I cannot rely on them while they want so much from me ... but the walks and time away from the crowds and the routines help with that.

Excellent art helps too, and this is like a golden day in the park ... makes me wish I was still working on PeakD like that, just to include it in my collection there ... but, reblogged it!

Hello @deeanndmathews. First, thanks for the reblog. Much appreciated. Walking is not only beneficial for health concerns, but also as a relaxing tool for relieving stress. Each person has to discover the technique that works for them, together with the company they wish to surround themselves with.

When you say much is asked of you, but little is received then the tables are turned, unfortunately that is the nature of a true giver of one's time and resources. Appreciation comes from other avenues that aren't often visible.

I appreciate you taking the time to visit and leave such a thoughtful inspiration to my question. Take care and have a lovely rest of your weekend.

"Appreciation comes from avenues that aren't often visible" -- this is the TRUTH, which is why I find myself preferring the company of Him Who is Love, but to others, invisible, while being invisible to others ... for a little while...
